Part of the problem is that the pan is rusting. In addition, I bet there is little to no non-stick coating left on the pan (that could be what is coming off on the eggs). My solution? Get new cookware. I am a Pampered Chef consultant, and we have the best cookware on the market. The benefits are endless.

Our Executive cookware line is the most durable hard-anodized aluminum that has been reinforced with titanium (much stronger than stainless steel cookware that's on the market). The DuPont Autograph 2 nonstick coating is on the inside AND outside for easy cleaning. Flared rims on the pans allow for dripless pouring. Flat bottoms help to keep oils from moving to sides of pans. Thick bottoms for even distribution of heat and thin sidewalls transfer heat more quickly. Soft grip handles covered in silicone for durability and comfort. Tempered glass lids allow you to view food without losing heat and nutrients. Pans are oven-safe up to 400F so your cookware can also double as your bakeware. LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!

Sound good? As I said, you definitely need something new if your eggs are not the way you hoped. If you want more info, visit www.pamperedchef.biz/ candiceskitchen

Good luck to you!

Do yourself a favor and buy a new pan. non stick teflon is the best (easy cleanup). But if you decide to buy one of better quality be sure to season it with oil between use. 1. the pan will stay in good condition 2. you don't have to use as much or any butter or oil next time you cook with it.

I'd say get a new pan, but not a non-stick one: those are usually covered w/teflon, a dangerous chemical. Try coating your pan w/ olive oil before cooking, it's much safer.
