I'm not one for much fuss, when I get home all I want is to relax and have a cold drink, a nice bath and a hot meal....here is one of my favorites serve with corn, patatoes or on a nice bed of rice a roni...enjoy
LONDON BROIL
Servings: 8 (5 1/2 oz. each)
4 lbs (2 large) flank steaks
FOR THE MARINADE (makes about 5 1/2 cups):
16 oz (2 cups) salad oil
8 oz (1 cup) soy sauce
8 oz (1 cup) Worcestershire sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp dry mustard
MARINADE INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine all ingredients for marinade; blend together well. Place flank steak into marinade. Use small enough container to allow flank steak to be completely covered by marinade. Marinade 24 hours minimum and not more than 4 days or flavor of the meat will be overpowered by marinade
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat grill to 360 degrees F for 1/2 hour.
Drain marinade from meat. Reserve marinade up to two weeks if needed.
Grill flank steak to medium rare. This will take approximately 10 minutes cooking time total. Hold cooked flank steak in warmer if necessary.
Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let rest for 5 minutes.
Slice cooked flank steak at 30 degree angle 1/8-inch thick slices: This is essential to keep flank steak tender.

I know you put this question out there for men, but I thought I would take a chance. Every fella I ever dated loved my fried chicken. You might give that a try, with mashed potatoes and gravy. I don't see how you could go wrong there.
Of course, with a heavy meal like that, dessert is usually too much, unless it is "on the house." : )

Start with Tiropitakia (Greek Cheese triangles) see 1)
A nice salad with Blue cheese dressing
Porter House or a T bone cooked on a charcoal grill medium rare, garlic smashed potatoes and grilled fresh veggies.
With a nice glass of milk.
end it off with a home made Hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream.
Thank you for asking.
Happy cooking.

I know you said MEN... BUT... My husband works in the heat, and after 17 years together, I've learned... when he gets home tell him to go take a shower, and when he gets out, have him a nice salad and something cold to drink, for main course, almost anything as long as it tastes good, he doesnt care...lol for dessert (when I make one) I like to make something nice, tiramasu, chocolate mousse, a berry tart... for him its the dessert that makes him feel loved at the table.

You wouldn't want a sh*t load of hot food if he's been in the heat all day. Depends on his working conditions and his appetite.
