I think canned Ro-tel tomatoes (the diced tomatoes with the green chiles in them) are just about the best thing invented. I'm always coming up with new things to put them in. Any ideas?

I bouth 2 at once, and froze one. I've heard to that it in the 'fridge for 2 days, on the counter for one, or in the microwave quicky... have had nothing but bad experiences thawing in microwave... Also I've seen those defroster plates... do they work? Where canc I get them?

Answers with web references or explanation of experience would be appreciated!
