Basically right now there are so many little ones that are close to me. I can't choose between them. There is one of the little boys that may not care to really do it but everyone else (parents) wants to be included.

As far as bridesmaids it is kind of turning out the same way. I have three best friends and then three sisters and the grooms two sisters. I was kind of hoping that some of them would not really care to be in the wedding but all have elected to do so. I would hate to be excluded so I really don't want to cut anyone out. I asked his sister's because I feel it is only proper plus I don't want to start out with a grudge in the family for me not including them in their brothers wedding.

There is a lack of groomsmen. I am actually having to recruit them :)

OK... so 8 bridesmaids.... 4 flower girls... 5 ring bearers....... and so far 5 groomsmen.

So I am wondering if anyone has seen this done? To me I am not worried about the kids messing up and so forth.

I attended my friends wedding out of state as she lives in South Carolina and I live in Oklahoma. I DID NOT BRING A GUEST. I gave her 100 but now feel I gave her too much as I had to pay for hotel and flight expenses there. She thanked me and said she extremely appreciated it. But I gave her too much as i gave her 25 more by mistake what can I do to make me feel better like maybe go lower on a gift to her next time or tell her it can go towards the baby gift or is that cheesy??? I know her wedding was not as expensive as other weddings I've been to.

I just found out yesterday that my reception hall (that my father said he booked) isn't available on my wedding day in about two weeks. The site was free so we didn't budget for that and frankly can't afford it. So.... does anyone have any ideas about what we can do besides having our wedding and going home? Thanks!

We are from Kentucky looking for a sweet getaway for two. No Family! We are very...into each other. lol. One of us is laid off but we would still like to do it anyway. but it will need to be somewhere cheap...Looking at a Sandals resort in Montego Bay? I would settle for Gatlinburg but he says no way! And come on no court houses thats not special at all! or romantic? Vegas- I dunno is it really cool or just Elvis cheesy?

My fiance and I hate the idea of marrying in front of a lot of people. We both have agreed that we want a super small ceremony. I mean, it is about us not anyone else. We have a friend in the army stationed in Hawaii. And it is really importatn to both of us that he is there. Is it wrong to take a quiet trip to Hawaii without telling anyone and just get married?

I’m getting married next winter and I come from a huge Latin family who loves to drink.. I’m having a nice wedding I’m the only one out of my brothers and sisters that is getting married in a church. My parents are so excited.

I’m getting some help from my family and future in laws.. His family is small.

The problem is I have been reading and also some family members are telling me to have a hosted bar at my wedding and its tacky for my guest to have to pay for their drinks.

I don't think I should pay for there drinks its going to cost me an arm and a leg. My guest list is already at 400 there is no way in hell I can pay that. I have told everyone that I’m going to have a cash bar at my wedding. I have done everything to accommodate them. I’m even paying for an extra room and a babysitter for a daycare at my wedding.

Am I wrong or is having a cash bar really that tacky?

I was just putting it on to see how I'd like my hairstyle on the wedding day... and I was wearing a nice shirt with it... not my wedding dress. I didn't know if this was untraditional or anything... or even bad luck!

I am getting married in about a year. It is the first marriage for him, second for me. I want to know if it would be tacky to register for gifts since it's my second? I have been divorced for 8 years and have been with this guy for a year. We live together in my house but are looking to get one together after marriage. Thoughts?

A friend of mine was married in a different state from where I live. I was unable to attend, so I mailed her a gift (21 piece stainless steel cookware set)http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/601-5271632-1506569?ASIN=B00022VUJQ&AFID=Froogle&LNM=B00022VUJQ|Stainless_Steel_21pc._Cookware_Set&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=B00022VUJQ&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001
I thought this would be perfect since, this will be the first home for each of them....He just finished college and got an apartment, and she lived with her parents up until the wedding. So its not like they have all the necessities in the home. Well, in my mail this morning was a letter to pick up a package. I was horrified to find that it was the gift that I had sent my friend. It had a letter attached that said we would much rather have money. Please return and send us a gift card or cash. The gift was $80 plus tax plus shipping. After recieving it back, I'm glad I didn't attend. Should I return it and send them cash?

i had a friends wedding a few days ago and she put all the presents in the dining room and her toddler son got into them and opened a bunch of them and tossed the paper all around so she has no idea what card goes to which present. she doesnt want to write a standard "thank you for the coming" she really wanted to personalize them all (ex: dear mike and jessica thank you for coming to the wedding and for sharing in our special day with us. the espresso machine will definitly come in handy this winter..." etc) she wants each person to know that she likes the gift they brought but now she doesnt know what gift goes to what card and its all a mess..should she suck it up and send standard thank you cards or would it be totally tacky to call and explain that her son got up from his nap and made a bit of a mess and ask who gave what. she isnt returning anything she just wants to know who sent what..what should we do?

We are throwing petals at the ceremony but wanted a grand entrance. You know when the bridal party is announced. Any feed back will be helpful.

A friend of mine gave me an inviation to her wedding which is next weekend. Short notice, it is the same day as alot of Halloween parties that I have already been invited to. I was planning on going party hopping so I could make everyone happy, now I get this invite and its gonna ruin my plans.

She is pregnant and I don't want to upset her but what should I do. The wedding is in early afternoon and the reception follows right after, so would it be rude if I like left the reception super early and didn't even eat?

My flower girl is going to be almost 11 by the time my wedding comes around. I want to get her something for the wedding but verything I've seen online seems to be for girls around 4-7. I was thinking about going to Claires and getting a pearl jewelry set. Is that nice for an 11 year old? It's been a long time sense I was that age!
