I suggest St. Augustine, Florida. It's one day's drive from where you live, there are plenty of cheap places to stay, lots of stuff to do for a couple (many of them free or really cheap), there's a nice beach, and it's historically romantic. It's a beautiful location, especially in the fall and spring.

Don't do Vegas unless you want to run into 6 other brides on your special day. How about flying to California and getting married in the sun at the beach? Even if it's just the 2 of you, I think you can do it for super cheap. And airline tix are inexpensive right now. All you would need is a officiant .... and you probably can get one for $50.

A mountain section may be staggering! think of of places like the Rocky Mountains, the place there are a number of available places to have a marriage that are no longer over-priced. I stay in Utah and there are quite a number of thoughts at community ski hotels that are wonderful, plus it is not costly for human beings to return and forth here and stay in Salt Lake city till now the marriage. Thecontinual to ski hotels and different mountainous aspects is 20-half-hour from downtown Salt Lake, and there are suburbs that are even closer and lower back, very low fee. *I forgot to characteristic, the climate and ecosystem is astounding once you have become married between Memorial Day and exertions Day- once you're doing a iciness wedding ceremony, it relatively is extra durable to do the mountain factor. :)

I was thinking about going to Sandals in St. Lucia. I know someone who went to St. Lucia and the Sandals in the Bahamas and she said St. Lucia is the best. They have a volcano and rain forest there. Its the most like Hawaii in my opinion. If you go to any tropical paradise, though, make sure you go prepared with "off" bug spray or lotion or something. Those places have sand fleas. A girl I work with went to Sandals in the Bahamas and she wasn't prepared for sand fleas and had a miserable time because she found out she was allergic to them. If you don't know what they are, they are fleas that live in the sand and are worse than masquitos.

If living in Kentucky, I'd be tempted to check out elopement packages at the bed & breakfast inns. Here are just a few:

what about a winery near where you live? They often have special gardens or sweet little areas where people can tie the knot. Just thought I might throw that out there.
