Honey, this is not all that uncommon, I would suggest you dance with both of them, each to their own song. I would dance with with ever one you are closer with first. If you are close with both of them, I would dance with your real father first and then a seperate song with your step-father. I would not worry too much about it, because you putting this much thought into it, I'm sure would really mean alot to either of them if they knew. There is no right or wrong answer, it is your wedding and you make up the rules.

im having the same problem but im not getting married... ive just been thinking about it alot. u can either think of which 1 has been the better father 2 u. just because hes ur dad doesnt mean hes treated u better than ur stepdad. OR u could have 2 dances. 1 4 ur real dad, and 1 4 ur stepdad

Whichever has played the most primary role in your life, give the first dance to. If they are both equally important to you, then give the first to your real dad. But, then give a dance to your stepdad as well. Choose two songs, one for each. Most people are understanding in this situation. Best of luck, congrats on the wedding, and have a great time!

If you are close with both of them, dance with both!
There are few father/daughter dance songs.. This is your wedding and you can do what you want!
I personal think this would be so nice of you to do for your dads!
I danced to I Loved Her First by Heartland with my dad and we cried during the whole song..everyone was crying..It a great song! (the photographer got great pics of my dad and I bawling)

Which one has been you "real" Dad? Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a Dad! Dance with your Dad!

whichever one is your real dad have the first dance with him and pick a song that you know will be perfect for the two of you and then have a second father dance song with your step father one song that will be special to you two as well. you dont want to leave one of them out and make them feel hurt or anything. so just include them both...its your party you can do wat you want lol

You can start dancing with your father then half way through the song have your stepdad tap him on the shoulder to "cut in" it can symbolize their joint roll in your life...might be kinds cute too.

just think about the one that really loved u and took care of u. the one that encouraged u and acted more like a dad to u.
i have a step dad and i dont get along with him and he is mean with me plus my real dad doesnt care about me, so as u can see none of them will be envited to my wedding...
i dont care to have them in my life. they r both losers..
if none of them were part of ur life, chose a cousin or a friend to walk u to the altar...
if both were good to u then let them both walk u to the altar. and let them both dance with u..there is nothing wrong with sharin..the is no rule that says a daughter cant dance with both her fathers...

Your real dad is your dad. Step dad isn't even in your genes.
But it's still your choice of picking any of them because if you like to dance with your dad because he's more closer to you in life than your step dad that is good too. Have fun! =)
