there is a product that changes silver and coats it in gold, you can do this at home. Does anyone now what it's called. the reason is is because my grandmothers ring is dull and it would cost me alot to get new gold on it, and i just want to wear it for my wedding,please help me!!!

My wedding is outside. Reception inside. Our colors are purple (closer to eggplant) and a soft yellow. Unfortunately our mongram would be "c O w" ...so we're not going with that. I don't think my fiance would really be behind butterflies or anything too "girly."

My dad has told many things about how the military life was for him and my mom! But i want to know what its like being married to a marine now! I love him very much and it wont be hard to adapt to the military life i was a military brat for 10 yrs! But as a kid not a wife! Could someone tell me what i am in for? Positve and negative if any i hope not! WE are getting married in feb! and going to be stationed in 29palms! I can still continue in school because there is a college 15 min away and he will be stationed there for the next two yrs! Anyone related to this give some good answers please!

I think weddings are stupid (especially big weddings). There's no point in it except to show off that you are rich and that you can afford a huge wedding! Half the time the guests don't really even know the groom or bride, they just hopped on the band waggon with the other 'wedding crashers'!! What do you think?

I'm getting married in July. What color shoe should I wear white or black? I've included a link to a dress that looks similar to mine. I found some really comfortable and cute black ones but just don't know if black would be ok. What do you guys think? Thanks. Oh the color of the trim will be black.

to go to Philippines next year for a visit and for our wedding. My problem is, i told him that i dont like him to talk with anybody else on chat anymore but "i think" he is not listening and still talking with his other female chat buddies. I have all of his passwords on email and i feel that he love me as well as i love him. I do not know if he is really serious of loving me or just playing with me because i found out that he still have pictures of those ladies she had talked to on chat before, even i told him to delete them. This is my first time to have commitment on a muslim so i am very scared that he will dump me soon when we marry or get another woman to love to. i am not criticizing muslims but i do not know much about them. please help me people.. thanks!!

know black is "for" funerals... and I bought this super cute Springy white halter dress with pink and green flowers, but I cannot find the right shade of pink or green shoes to match and that stresses me out! I know I'm not supposed to wear white shoes after Labor Day, true or just a myth? so then I fell back on this adorable short strapless black dress I have to accessorize with red shoes, red bracelets, etc... is that off limits as well?! I guess I could go shop for something else... but I'm trying to be frugal! Thanks

My fiance and I are getting eloped. We both live at home? Today or tomorrow we have to get a marriage license in order to go forth with our wedding on Tuesday. The problem is my fiance don't have her social security card, which we will need. Her mom has it. She doesn't buy that she needs it for a job interview. Her mom has it locked up in a little safe. We're keeping this wedding quiet. We both still live at home, and are having the big ceremony with the family in June.

My fiance and I want to go to the courthouse in about a month and get married there, but later on have a big ceremony and reception. Right now both sets of parents are having financial difficulties, and he and I are both in school so we can't afford it either. But of course we would love to have the big celebration too. Ok so there are save the date cards, response cards, invitation, reception information, maps, wedding programs, itineraries, menu selections, seal and sends, and oh gosh- so many other things! What all do you include with the invitation? I know the save the date card is sent out prior to the wedding, basically announcing your wedding date. I am so swamped with this all!

I have been trying to find a best priced diamond ring on High street and Internet. I know the basics about diamond, the colour, cut, clarity, etc. For the same spec, Platinum 1ct diamond ring on the highstreet costs £7-8K, but only £5k on the internet. I want to know why they costs so differently? isn't the spec of the diamond determines the price?

(Last Q about weddings, promise.....) So, the wedding is Oct 2007, and I have been browsing mags and web sites (like The Knot) for a little while. When is too soon to be going to shops to look up close at dresses and try them on? I'm not sure of when to start the process.

Also, I am such a girly girl--I fall in love with soooo many dresses I see. How will I know when to settle for one lovely dress? Sort of like how you know your guy is the one, you just know??

My favorite color is pink. I wanted to go with that, but my fiance doesn't like that idea. I have been browsing through my bride mags and what they show for fall weddings are just not to my liking. (Oranges and reds and greens....NOT for me, thanks, I don't want it to look like an Autumn lawn.) However I did find a beautiful gown with a very unique lavendar color. (Just looking at gowns, haven't purchased anything) Besides chocolate and a dusty rose, what are some other color combos you can think of? I did see a beautiful turquoise color along with chocolate. But turquoise isn't really "me".

I knew he was gay before even meeting the guy. It was the way he posed in the pictures with his girlfriend. Not kidding here, he would stick his butt out (in a family portriat of about 20 people) in an awkward position, and his hands looked so femininie..... and the family would make fun of the portrait of the way he posed which was unusual for a man?

Can this type of marriage last?
