You are a Christian, because you were Baptized? and your boyfriend is a Muslim, by Baptism too. I presume, and both of you do not attend your individual Church. If you want to get Married do it with a justice of the Peace present and at your own home if possible have guests over afterwards to help both of you in uniting yourselves to one another. Good Luck! I have been married to my husband for 48 yrs. and couldn't be happier W e got married by a justice of the peace since he had already been Married by the Catholic Church which does not recognize Divorces.

My christian cousin got married to a muslim man this summer. They simply had two weddings. The only issue is that both sets of parents have to agree to participate in both weddings. Another issue is that in the muslim religon it is considered a disgrace for a man to marry a women before he can fully support her financially so as long as your bf has a job or his parents are ok with it i don't see a problem

Basically, I think you should take your faith seriously and not compromise. It is not advisable to marry someone of another faith as these would breed marital clashes which I don't think you want. Would you want to cover your face while outdoors or tie a bomb to your chest?
Would he want to carry bible and preach on the street or dance and sing in church? I don't think it is a good idea to marry him unless you want to be a muslim, or he want to be a christian. No offence meant. sorry.

His family will probably insist on a traditional wedding. Have that ceremony first. Then have a ceremony with a non -denominational priest and make his signature be the one on the marriage certificate. The first one is just for show but it will appease his family. The second one will be set up in a more "christian" format (tuxedos, walking down the aisle), appeasing your family. Two ceremonies are quite expensive, but that's how I've seen it done before.

Marriages incorporate various numerous issues yet between the main mandatory is compromise between the two human beings. To me it form of feels like the only guy or woman which would be compromising is you. i might supply up and extremely think of approximately what you would be giving up and what he may well be giving up. If the two are no longer a minimum of equivalent, i might think again marriage.you're able to be able to love him yet once you supply up each thing and he supplies up no longer something, ten yrs from now you will resent him. @ Peace Walker: Falling in love with somebody of a distinctive perception device isn't a sacrifice, that's in simple terms existence. perhaps you ought to study what a sacrifice is earlier you remark. he's not keen to enable her keep her faith and he's not keen to enable her teach the youngsters approximately the two religions, in user-friendly terms his, So, what precisely is he sacrificing????

Dear my daughter
It is not fair to do it ! think about your future
Muslems have selfish rules < as for ex: when something wrong may be done with your relation you never have your children yet
Muslims lie or pretend to be fair" he is not so relegious " don't believe this jok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(JustAThought) she wrote about your case from Bible 2 Corinthians 6:14
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
It is wrong for believers to join with the wicked and profane. The word unbeliever applies to all destitute of true faith. True pastors will caution their beloved children in the gospel, not to be unequally yoked. The fatal effects of neglecting Scripture precepts as to marriages clearly appear. Instead of a help meet, the union brings a snare. Those whose cross it is to be unequally united, without their wilful fault, may expect consolation under it; but when believers enter into such unions, against the express warnings of God's word, they must expect must distress

This is a tough question but if neither of you are that religious why not just go for a civil marriage in a registry office.

You can hire someone who can legally perform marriages like a lawyer or judge. You don't have to have a religious wedding. Your county courthouse should have a list of local resources for you.
