If it had been true love he would be married to you instead of someone else. So, either don't go at all or throw bird seed or bubbles. Be happy for them and move on w/ your life. There is someone out there for you and when you find them you'll wonder why you thought this person was the one.

Skip throwing something, I say chase em down and run em over! No really though- I cant say i would throw anything. The thought of the one I love marrying someone other than me would kill me- i would hate to become a psycho! lol I think I would be happy for him though- i would never want harm to come his way...

I'd release butterflies. If I truly loved him, I would have his best interest and happiness in mind. If he found someone else that could love him like he wanted to be loved, I'd celebrate that happily. The butterflies represent freedom and and beauty, so I'd want that for their relationship and in turn, I'd receive it as well (from another great guy, of course) because my heart is pure.

Anthrax... just kidding.
A couple of weeks ago this actually happened to me. It was the hardest day of my life. The worst part about it was that I could tell he still had feelings for me.
Madison, don't talk about things you don't know about. He confessed it to me after he was engaged. We were good friends all the way through high school and never admitted our feelings for each other until one night after he had already gotten engaged.

You're not really going to a wedding of a guy that you're in love with, but's marrying another, are you? That would be not cool. You need to stay home and not partake in that drama. Let him go and mourn, then find another to love. It's easy to say and hard to do, but better for all involved. Peace.

I would throw a quote from one of my all-time favorite movies, "The Princess Bride" especially in the old knarly hag type voiceover perfectly done in the movie:
'Boo, booo...'Here she is, the Queen of garbage, the Queen of refuse, Go ahead and bow to her, bow, bow to the the queen of putrecence....Bow down, bow down before her....Booo, boooo'
'Why do you say such things?'
'Because you had true love and he lives, and you marry another. Boo, Boooo, boooo.'
*** Bonus points if you dress up like a hag as well.

(edit) a ninja.. heavily. My husband had maximum of those wacky ideas that i did not opt to do at our wedding ceremony. i had to gown traditionally & fairly. i did not desire him to sense he did no longer have his personal contact interior the marriage so some days before our wedding ceremony I had an idea. I requested my cousin to gown up as a ninja & leap out at us when we were presented at our reception. someone threw my husband a sword & they battled it out! It considered as although my husband predicted it the way he went into it so clearly! It changed into hillarious. no longer to point our kinfolk did not even understand what changed into happening. My husband theory it changed into tremendous.

A party because obviously I dodged a bullet by not loving someone who was in love with someone else.
