My friend turned up preggo last week - a blood test at her gyno, so we know it's legit.

She told the MM (Married Man) about this, and he didn't really seem to have much of a reaction. He went with her to a Dr. appt. (her idea - to make it more 'real' for him, as it hadn't really sunk in yet), and now he is encouraging her to get an abortion. She is on the fence about this decision, and I am trying to help her make a good choice, but no resolutions yet.

The weird thing, is that MM told his wife about this, and SHE DOESN'T CARE. Not at all. She was very nonchalant about the whole thing.

I am so confused! I am trying to be my friend's support system through this time, so I am trying to get my head around it. How could his wife just have to reaction? I don't get it.

How can I be the best help to my friend now?

Married last year and I have a 6 year old daughter and a 6 year old step daughter and 17 year old step-son. The X husband is a so so good guy. Very tight with the money! We pay for 90% of the children. Here is the major problem: step-son is smoking pot, lying, and stealing from us. We have caught him and this has been happening for a year now. I finally had enough and made him go live with his father. Now it seems I am the bad guy cause I don't want him around the two 6 year olds. I do not trust him one bit. He lies so much, when his mouth is open, it is lies. The parents have always never made him mind, now I am being the hard person on him, and he has thanked me many times. Now he knows I mean business and my wife feels she has to go see him elsewhere or go to dinner with him if she wants to see him at all. That is not what I want! I just want her to stick by what she says, I have been her backbone since she cannot stick to her word. Am I wrong here, what do I need to do? Help!!

my husband left me and our 2 young children after 10 years of marraige for a young brat. its hard to accept he is happy and im left rejected and suffering heartbreak and being a single parent. does he ever feel guilty, sorry or any bit remorseful or even miss his children? or are men just so so selfish and insular???

So far I have racked up over $6,000 in lawyer fees & that is settled is custody & parenting plan. Our lawyers are currently arguing child support. I am drained & want to be done. I left a house I lived in for over 9 years & my husband farms. But he said there isn't much to give me.
When I left I took everything I wanted out of the house. He wasn't left w/much. I took my Explorer which we paid on for 2 years & traded for a Taurus. He offered $15,000 @ 6.5% interest which he will pay in $200 mthly payments until the balance is paid in full. Also agreed to $600 mth for child support for our daughter. He wants this locked in until the settlement is paid, then we can reassess child support if need be. And he agreed to paying her medical insurance, all future medical bills, dental (w/the exception of preventative) & her ortho expenses as she will need braces. I keep my student loan debt & IRA ($3400). I told him if I agreed I would use his lawyer so I no longer rack up lawyer bills.

I am friends with a couple whp have 7 kids...they adopted 4 and 1 was from her previous relationship... Madison (9), Alexis (8), Kyle (6), Keith (4), Lynda (3), Lisbeth (3), Trinity (4 months)...

He adopted Madison..who is hers from another relationship...so who will get Maddy? And who will get Aelxis, Kyle, Keith, Lynda, Lisbeth, and Trinity? And will they be split up? Both parents are Orthodontist and have good homes so it wont be a matter of where they will be better off. And they do not want shared custody...they want either all or none.

I just got divorced. I'm 26..he's 30..never been married. We've been talking not quite a month. He says he wants to be fwb & see where it goes. He said he knows we have to be careful since I just got divorced. We've hooked up twice. We've been talking &/or texting everyday. He's told me a couple of times that he misses me. He's gotten to where he doesn't text as often....& he hardly ever calls anymore...we just talk thru text. I told him yesterday that if he didn't have plans or anything we could do something & he said that he feels like he's getting sick. I know he could be telling the truth....but he could also be lying. I haven't heard from him since last night. He has told me before that he doesn't want to scare me or fall for me too fast but that he thinks of me alot. I told him I don't want either one of us to get hurt. I don't know what to think at this point though...I feel like I'm out in limbo here & I don't really like it. What do you guys think?

Do you think i am being unreasonable?
My partner recently when to a strip club for his friends birthday, well i was fine with that. He has been a couple of times in the 3 years i have been with him & ive never tried to stop him. However i discovered that the last time he stayed at the club while his friends went to another pub talking to one of the strippers. He has her number. She is bi but he tried to tell me she was lesbian. She apparently does have a lesbian gf and 'has never been with a guy' but i think that makes it worse. and probably the guy bit is a crock of ****. Anyway do you think i have a right to be mad about the number? he has normal girl mates that i have always been fine with... but im not so sure how i should react to this..

We have been doing just fine, a few bumps and fumbles here and there but I thought we were doing just fine. He has been drinking quite a bit and finally last night he told me that he is not ready for me, that he loves me and wants to be with me, he loves me like he has never loved before but he is not ready for me and just needs time to himself. What do I do I am on an emotional rollercoaster from hell. How am I suppose to take that? Now I am at my parents with my daughter and she is asking why we can't go home.
Like I said we were doing just fine, this came out of left field we were laughing and joking now with in a matter of minutes he desided he didn't want to be with me but yet he loves me and wants to be with me I make him so happy. I am so confused please help me if you could

A female friend of my husbands is going out with a group of her cousins and brothers out to dinner. They all decided they would bring their girlfriends/boyfriends too. This friend is single and she felt sad to be the only one going alone. So she asked my husband to go along with her.

I think it will be much weirder for her to show up with a married male friend then to go solo. Thoughts?

My mother in law arranged my marriage with her son. After I got married she started scheming and plotting againest me, instead of helping me to adjust in the new family, she started pointing out my flaws to her son and husband. My relationship with her son was doomed from the beginning! her son used to say talk to my mother and not to me! It seemed he was not even interested in getting married! She started demanding dowry from me? I fail to understand why did she get me married in the first place if she didnt like me? Now i have a daughter and I have left my husband because he used to come home drunk and shout at me (goaded by her). We sing praises of the indian family values but I feel in this aspect its all rotten inside! Is this arranged marriage system made to torture the girls? Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 1/2 years. We have lived together for 3 or a little more years. For the most part we are pretty happy. We have our problems but they are probably for the most part just the normal problems in any relationship. (you know like he doesn't do anything around the house and I don't drive the car like he thinks I should) very minor. All and all we are meant to be I'm not going any where and neither is he. I told him when I moved in that my goal in life is to be married and he said that we would look into it more as time goes on after we saw how our relationship worked out. And I agreed. now after all this time he says that he doesn't beleive in marriage. His parents had a terrible relationship and he basis alot of it on that. but he said he wants us to be together forever he even put me as his beneficiary on everything. I just want us to be married it is important my two kids even consider him as their father what can i do to change his mind?

If so, why? Do you like the feeling of power you have over seeing her get upset? Why would you want to "push her buttons" if you love her? Furthermore, why do you wait until she cries to apologize, and then you think sex, flowers and gifts are the answer, when you are only going to do the same thing over again? And why do you use excuses like "I'm stressed out at work." Or, is it just that deep down you think you can walk all over her because she let's you do this? Is this caveman behavior?

FYI, I am talking about words here, not physical abuse.

My ex gf is getting divorced from her husband. Theproblem is we have a 3 year old daughter together and I want to spend more time with her. The only thing is with x-mas coming up so soon I don't really want to take my daughter away from her on x-mas day, leaving her all alone. But I do want to see my daughter on christmas though.
