Personally, I don't think race really has much to do with it. If a married couple wishes to have an open relationship, it can be good for everyone, as long as everyone is open and honest and committed to working things through. Bringing someone into the relationship that both partners want to engage with is one common way to try to ensure the safety and stability of the marriage. Whether or not it will work out depends on all of the individuals and the circumstances of the relationships.

Seems to me that has nothing to do with an open marriage, it is more like that one of you just wants to have a threesomes, I suggest if you want to spice your marriage up then go and do things for each other that you don't normally do, do something the other would not expect you to do with out the introduction of a third person, other wise your marriage is heading down a road you may not want it to go.

How bout a white married couple going on a trip to spice things up, or role playing. If you need outsiders to come into your marriage to spice it up...your marriage is DOOMED

Dude why did you get married? Plus you know if the black guy does her good then they will be humpin on the side. You'd better think twice about that! I wish my husband would ask me about an open marriage. I would open up the front door and tell him to have at it. Don't come back slimball!

Sounds like swinging, actually.

If all 3 consenting adults involved are completely comfortable with the arrangement, then more power to them.

If anybody involved requires any sort of "convincing" at all, then it's coercion and it's wrong and could possibly destroy the marriage. Certainly it would destroy the trust.

You have just given the ingredients for a recipe for disaster. Just add bed and stir.

Try buying some toys or something. They won't run off with your spouse, and you won't be jealous of them.
