I am feeling really depressed at the moment. I have generally a good marriage and am told a lot that I am extremely attractive but I am consistently paranoid about my husband seeing other women and thinking they are attractive. He has never cheated on me and is extremely attentive and affectionate but I hate it when we are in the same room as an attractive woman as I always wonder that my husband is thinking she is good looking too. He says he feels he can't talk to another woman unless she is totally unattractive for fear of what I will be thinking. He says he isn't interested in anyone but me , however I know this doesn't mean that he doesn't think that other women are pretty and it drives me up the wall. I wish he didn't ever have to see other women, but I know this is childish and unrealistic. Please help

He is 22 and I 21. I think we are very young. He wants to be a pastor. I want to be a doctor. Our careers are different. Any advice?

I have an female enemy who started working at my husband's place of employment. She pumped a friend of mine to find out where he was working, and then, bam, she ends up working at his place of employment. I was not aware of her working there until another friend informed me. My husband did not tell me about it. When I asked why he hadn't told me, he got very defensive and talked to me very mean. To be fair, his mother had been in a car wreck at the same time I confronted him, and he said that is why he was mean to me. However, he's done some very questionable acts since my "enemy" has came into our lives and we have gotten into some very vicious fights. He has put his hands around my throat twice, but did not squeeze tight---just threatened and said he would like to. He's bruised my sides from squeezing me when I try to leave. The entire time we dated I did not see this behavior, but in all honesty, it all started when she came into our lives. (cont'd--read additional details)

So almost 26 years ago I married a man who was not exactly ideal marriage material. We're both in our 50's now and have found each other again, quite by accident, through our daughter, who had not seen him for almost 8 years. We have been talking every day since that, he has been over to spend time with our daughter and granddaughter, and he seems to be a much different man.
He wants us to be married again and says things like how it would have been better if he had been ready back then and that now we could have so much better a life together.
Any thoughts?

He argued with me vehemently about his inappropraite communications with a lady . He said many hurtful things to me, including ' you are a witch'. Did not tell me his friend was coming over for the weekend until next day when we were both leaving the house for work. They both came to pick me up after work and i was very civil with his friend, who i'm usually friendly with. When i offered his friend some snack he said he was full up since he had eaten chinese food,(with him i think). So i did not bother with dinner, and not feeling well as well, i went straight to bed. Usually i would wake up early and made breakfast for them, but i thought witches don't tend to their husband's guests so i stayed in bed till they left at 11.30am. Was this wrong? I was trying to be firm 'cos he does it to me too often. shouldn't i have been told before hand of a visitor?

Your sitting at your computer when out of the corner of your eye you see something scurrying across the floor. You jump out of your chair and are about to stomp the little bug when you notice it is your ex, only they are really tiny. What would you do??

i am getting ready to get a breast augmentation. there is a part of me that thinks the novelty of it will be fun, but i really don't care either way if i do it. my husband is super excited (he just sometimes misses what he used to have)- i am pretty much doing this for him. don't get me wrong- he loves me and is always telling me i should be a model. i don't think there is a husband out there who finds their wife more beautiful than mine does me. i am only getting it to look normal again after nursing 4 children- nothing huge or anything. i guess my question is, is there other women out there who did this mostly for their husbands and are happy now?

Last year, I married a wonderful woman I had dated for three years. Ever since a few months before we married, she insists I am interested in another woman and she can not trust me. This is absoultely not true! I have done everything in my power to convince her how much I love her, but no matter what I do or say, she always picks something out of the conversation to claim proves that she is right. She has taped my phone conversations, gone through my personal papers, checks my computer history. There is no evidence for her to find because I am doing nothing, but she still insists I am. She says her "instincts" are never wrong. What should I do? I know she is miserable and I love her so much. This is taking its toll on both of us. How do you get through to someone who is convinced that you are a cheater? How do you prove that something that does not exist is not true?

A friend of mine met her boyfriend on an online dating site. She is 42 but looks about 32. On her profile she stated that she was 32 and her picture supported this. She met a guy online and they chatted for a couple of months then he wanted to meet her. On their first meeting she told him her age as she wanted to make sure he was ok with it before getting involved with her. He didn't have a problem and they've been together for years. I'm interested in what men think of this? Personally I think it is fair enough as lots of guys dont care about the actual age but the look. If you put over 40, you often get filtered out of many searches. I'm thinking of doing internet dating and am just wondering?

My heart is broken
I thought we could move past what was tried to be forgotten
But the pain lives on inside of me
This was not how my life with you was suppose to be
Given her what was promised to me amd me alone
But you put our promise aside for one night of pleasure with the unknown
That pain will never be forgotten, it is etched in my heart
Everyday it will slowly tear my soul apart
You was the man that my heart adored
I have never felt this kind of ache before
The thought of your body against another's was my worst fear
But the truth that our vows were lies has appeared
Our trust, our love, our life has been lost
Was her touch worth everything it cost
Absence will cure a broken heart, as some teach
But how to find the courage to leave is no where in arms reach

My husband & I have been married 2 years. 3 kids. Well 2 biologically (my oldest sons father passed away,he only knows my husband as his dad) The kids are 9,2 and 1. A month ago he told me that he doesnt want to be married anymore & left. He is now staying with his mom, paying no bills & enjoying being single. I am working 60-70 hours a week to make ends meet & taking care of the house & kids alone. My husband tells people that he only married me for the kids & that he has been miserable with me. That devastates me because I thought we were happy & I gave him everything & anything he wanted. I have always been the breadwinner & everything is in my name. I want him to come home but he said he doesnt love me & doesnt even like me. Those words killed me or atleast made me wish I was dead. I am having a hard time getting over this. I dont like giving up on marriage. I hear hes with someone else - the girls ugly & has a drug problem. Why leave me & the kids and then be w/someone like that!

A guy I dated for 2 years, he did not have any male friends in his life, nor careless about his relatives. He said he loved me and wanted all the attention from me. He would be angry if I met with my felmale friends or co-workers without him. His only friend was his ex wife, whenever we had a argument, he would run back to his ex and accused me that I make him leave because I wanted to make new friends while he contacted his ex al the times. They have been married for 15 years and divorced for 3 years. Why he wanted to go back to his ex when he told me that the reason why he divorced his ex, because she was so needy and controlling? Why people wanted to go back to a unhealthy relationship and keeping doing the same thing to their new partner? Are they mentally ill?

Now, financially, she has never had anything to worry about. I have given her everything she has asked for materialisticly speaking. She recently found out that based on her reasons for wanting a divorce, she will not be awarded alimony, I will not be required to pay her legal fees and court costs, and she would only be getting about 1/2 as much as she originally thought in child support because she does not have to pay for daycare. Could this be the reason she is wanting to work it out?

My hubby had a sort 'crisis' this time last year and he left unannounced saying that he needed to sort his head out. For months he kept me stringing along, saying that he still loved me but needed his space and he treated me really badly. I stuck with it though and although I asked him to move out and leave me alone for a while he eventually moved back in July this year. He is much better but he insists that he wants his own life and does everything he can to be like a lad and exclude me from this new life he has made. I agree that we should have our own lives but we hardly have a life together anymore. He doesn't spend a lot of time with me and he always puts his friends first; cancelling any plans with me to go out drinking with them. I feel more and more detached and keep asking myself if there is any future in this as I really want someone who puts me first and respects me. Only thing that is keeping me trying is that we have been together for 10 years.. Should I call it a day?

My wife left me. She stated that the reason she left me, literally, was I play too much xbox. I found this strange because the xbox has always been what I did when I had absolutely nothing else to do. Based on previous experiences I have gone through with her, I decided to do a little snooping around. I intercepted a voicemail message from another guy that roughly said, "I don't know why rean't replying to my texts. I don't have to work today and I was hoping to come up and spend your lunch break with you. I love you with all of my heart, (her name). I don't want to screw this up." When I confronted her, she originally said, "It was a wrong number." I pointed out that not only did he call her by name, the introduction to her voicemail is our 5 year old son saying, "Leave mommy a message after the beep." Surely, any man calling the wrong number would know it after hearing that. She then told me his name and that he was psycho. She wants to come back to me. Would you trust it?

gambling, lying but otherwise very nice person?

Also won't get help, says I have a problem (yeah actually dealing with things can make a person appear that way) breath smells like ammonia (metallic, egg) yesterdays beer coming out of pores etc etc

Can't hardly take it anymore but we are married and have a home and a son that adores us both, and our son is bipolar.

My son begged me not to kick him out. He is not physically abusive. He's passive aggressive.

I am going to oz in one month time so I don’t have alot of time to get things arranged. I am planning to buy him out and get my name put on the deeds and an agreement made out by our solicitor that when I get back from oz he will sign the house over to me so it is solely in my name and I can continue with the mortgage. We are in the middle of renting out the flat to cover the Mortgage when I am in Oz.

Does anyone know the time scale for arranging to put a wife’s name on the deeds and how much it would cost? Many thanks
PS I will be making an appointment with a solicitor this week.
we bought the house together in 1999 but itswas in his name only, we never got round to putting my name onto the deeds.

"Heat of Joy"

Late at night when you lay peaceful in bed, feel the heat of joy,
presented you through colored fields, you no longer wish destroy.
Tend to your flowers,, as they bloom in your day, revisit the scent at night,
watch them grow,, like your inner soul,, with quiet candor, and delight.
Blessed are they who seek love,, never shall his grace, and love you betray,
our field of blooms that warm the heart,, for you have succeeded, another day.
Press a flower from your field,, lay it across your heart,, feel the heat of joy,
that never from your beauty,, will depart................ "Heat of Joy"
