Now, financially, she has never had anything to worry about. I have given her everything she has asked for materialisticly speaking. She recently found out that based on her reasons for wanting a divorce, she will not be awarded alimony, I will not be required to pay her legal fees and court costs, and she would only be getting about 1/2 as much as she originally thought in child support because she does not have to pay for daycare. Could this be the reason she is wanting to work it out?

Yes. Yes. Yes. This is probably the reason she wants to work things out.

Let her go. She has cheated on you and cannot be trusted.

Concentrate instead on maintaining a healthy relationship with your child. Avoid the ex.

she wants to work it out because financially it isn't as good as she thought it would be, and perhaps the new man isn't as well of as u are. u can bet it is because of some selfish motive. don't take her back, because if u drop the divorce, and go back, the next time she leaves it might cost u alot more. she also sees that life with him will not give her what she has now financially speaking. but had she loved u there would not have been another man, nor would she have cheated on u, and if she had issues she would have discussed them with u before finding love in the arms of another. u are in danger because u still love her, and want to believe her, but u can't fall for it, u have to move forward now and leave the past where it is.

My friend, she is a leech. Very common. You may want to check her teeth as well. She sounds like a crack-head. Don't discount this theory. I didn't and got screwed in the end. If you go back with her, look for the following:
Jerky body motions, erratic behavior, bi-polar emotions. If you need more ask again.

Sounds to me like you have a good understanding of the situation. She's immature and looking for some "enabling" for her faithlessness.
