My wife filed for divorce in mid May and moved out a week later. She got her own place and we pretty much care for our kids 50/50 (more me, but I want to be fair(kinda) . I found out recently that the guy she's having an affair with stays there when the kids are not with her. However, just last week she took my son boating with this guy and I was so pissed! She didn't ask our daughter to go,(she was with me) and my son called me the other day and said he thinks he heard him in the morning while he was at her place, and he was pretty freeked about it. I think this is so wrong to do this so soon after she left. I know it hurts me emotionally, but I can only cringe at what this would do to our teen kids if they knew all that she is doing. I want to run a background check on him! Damn it! This is so F'ing screwed up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

about two years ago my dad moved about 2-3 hours away from our usual house on account of a job, or that's what they told us. my dad used to call us every weekend or come down to visit. just recently my parents started fighting more and more than the usual stuff, and my dad doesn't come home anymore. it's been like a month since i last saw him. then about a week ago the conversation of "what would you do if timothy and i got divorced?" came up. yesterday my dad came and picked up basically all of his stuff. is he going for a zen thing when he is home or could they be getting divorced? it's not like im going to be sad if they are cause they;ve basically been "seperated' for two years. i just need other people's opinions?
:] please?

having some of the same issues (screaming & verbal abuse during arguments...can't seem to ever give him enough attention or affection) We separated two weeks ago and are both going to counseling - individually right now. He asks me every day about coming over to spend the night or to come over super early in the morning to "see our son"...and made comments like he "started to lie down" with me (I was still sleeping). Just got the cell phone bill and see that he's started calling & texting the girl he was dating when we got back together. Needless to say, I then went to check his drawer in the bathroom, and yep! he took his Viagra with him. Obviously he intends to begin a sexual relationship ... would you worry about trying to work on this marriage? I do not miss him and am not at all jealous about the girl. I just do not admire him...am I wrong? GUYS: is this how most of you would respond during a separation...look for sex within two weeks? FYI...we were intimate July 10.

My wife went to a counselor because she said she was unhappy. The counselor suggested adoption or foster care. Now even though I told her I was against it she keeps setting up meetings with an agency.I'm 48 and we have been married for 21 years and have one 15 year ol. I am not real good with kids and have no desire to put up with another kid in my house. I expressed these feelings but she still doesn't get it. I feel that this could lead to problems where there weren't any in our marriage until now.Any advice?

I don't know if I still love him or if I'm scared of the unknown. I don't want to live my life like this. I'm worried that I will spend the rest of my life in this. I tried it once before and it only lasted 4 days. I guess I kinda still love him. Should I leave him or should I demand him to change. I'm scared my mom lived her whole adult life with a abuser who never changed . She spent 15 years trying to work out a bad marriage. I just don't want that to happen to me.

Because if she is my sister-in-law's cousin(by blood) then she should be my cousin by marriage. Or a relative by marriage. Plus we all love each other like we have known each other for years but my brother just married my sister-in-law recently, and my sister-in-law's family are people we will be seeing for the rest of our lives because we all love each other. My sister-in-law's mother who is my brother's mother-in-law and her sisters love me like I was actually related to them by blood, and my mom and my sister-in-law's mother and aunts are like sisters. So is my sister-in-law's cousin by blood related to me by marriage? Because the girl's cousin is my sister-in-law so she should be my cousin too or some relative by marriage. So is my sister-in-law's cousin related to me by marriage at all?

Married 16 years and sex has always been a challenge. She has never initiated sex, best I can tell foreplay is a bore and sex lasts about as long as I do which having sex once a month you can imagine it is very brief. She stays home, always had. I make a great living and she has a maid to help out with the housework. She is always tired and even when we "plan" on sex she is usually asleep by the time the kids go to bed (around 10). I am high energy so I do as much as I can around the house so she doesn't have to. Laundry, dishes, picking up after the kids hoping that she'll have enough energy. I kiss her good bye and tell her I love her (she is asleep) every morning and call home at 10 am every workday so as not to wake her up. I am at wits end, no sex, no romance and she is not affectionate when I ask for a massage you would think I asked for the world. I ask her what can we do, she says nothing, counseling? no. She having an affair? says no, been this way since I known her.
