I did it last night
1. Make sure he has plenty of medicine, tissues and anything else.
2. Let him rest in the den (has a futon) , watch whatever he wants and leave him alone (he likes to be alone when sick, but others may not.
3. Respond when he needs me or needs something so he does not have to get up.
4. Let him sleep in the den so he will get a more restful night's sleep (and so will I).
5. The next morning I send a small box of Kleenex with him with a sweet note written on the side (made the other guys at work jealous).
My husband is not a breakfast person so I did not make him breakfast, but if your husband/wife is you could make them it.
If you like a nice warm bath may make your spouse feel better as well.

Depends on what kind of sick. If just a cold, make them chicken noodle soup and help them with there wants or chores. If it is deadly kinds sick i would try to give them the time of their life.

If my wife was sick I would tend to her every need by making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. I would wait on her hand and foot.

You need to figure out what they like when they're sick. Some people like to be tampered, some just like to be left alone. Ask your spouse what they prefer when ill - people have different needs and hopefully he/she will be able to communicate his or hers.

Let him sleep all day, go get him some medicine, make him anything he wants to eat and wait on him hand and foot.
