I am an impowered woman who has a million decisions to make every day. Sometimes I'd just like to come home and my husband be the one to have plans for a change.
It would be a nice break for the man to take the lead. I imagine a lot of wives feel this way.

So as an empowered woman you can make a million decisions a day (don't we all?) but you cant figure out why your husband is acting like this, let alone maybe (bright idea...wait...wait) ask him about it. Maybe you're complain so much he just turns off. I know when I am starting to nag or over explain something because I get the "Yes, dear", :"Uh huh", Whatever you like" or "I see"... he tunes out and turns off. This doesn't mean my husband isn't respectful, it just means he is annoyed that I am treating him like a child and is doing his best to remain respectful rather than make an issue out of it.

Passive is deadly! They are not what they seem. These are the type that can one day click and bury the family in the basement. Sorry I was with one and after fourteen years I noticed lots of suspicious behavior and ran like hell!

Men sometimes give up because any display of masculinity can result in a 911 call and a conviction for Spousal Abuse. Some guys simply walk away: emotionally or physically.

You sound like a woman who likes to take charge and your husband knows that, so it is easier for him to let you.
Tell him you value his opinion because he's the smartest man you know.

What's wrong with that? Some women like their men passive. Whatever floats their boat.

Personally, I think women who have this attitude and own none of their own shiat..... deserve what they get. Try being a woman to your husband and less caught up on your own pride. PIISS KOPF
