We were high school sweethearts and were together about 7 years. Things weren't exactly picture perfect the whole time we were together. But we both knew we growing further apart by the day. We'll now that we finally moved on. I left the relationship definetly wanting to get back into another one. Well, now that I am in one and she isn't but from what I see and hear, enjoying her single life. She isn't letting me see my daughter. I pay her monthly support under the table. I applied to put myself on child support and awaitng the court date. But yet, she tells everyone that I never want to see my daughter. And how I'm a dead beat Dad. Which isn't the case. What can I do once the court date arrives for child support? How can I use this childish behavior to my advantage?

I'm 30, SO is 50 - we both have kids too (his older than mine obviously). We have an amazing relationship emotionally, physically & spirtually. We forget there is any age difference most of the time. Been starting to think about the way long term and I really wanted to know of some of what really affects couples with this age difference in the future. I am having a hard time imagining 50 & 70 or beyond. We do know about the immediate impressions of others and all those awkward questions about whether he' my kids grandfather, my dad, etc but I'm looking way beyond that stuff.

My husband goes out almost every night to the bar and sometimes does not come home at all. He swears that he is not cheating, but sometimes stays gone for up to 5 days because of a small disagreement that we have had. Do I get out of this, or deal with it? How do you know if there is another woman?

I know everyone wants an answer to this one. I've been told by my therapist that the rule of thumb is 2 years for every year together...is this really how long it takes. I have no problems dating, but no one gets to me the way he does.

My wife (married 24 yrs.) typically utters, "Jesus" when she is frustrated or dissappointed in something my 14 year old daughter does or doesn't do. My 18 year old daughter and I told her she should not use his name in vain, that Jesus has nothing to do with the situation. Further, I told her some people find it offensive, and out of respect she should not speak like that. She retorted, "I'll speak any way I damn well please!"

To me, this is a sign of selfishness, immaturity, and disrespect of both God and for her immediately family members that she supposedly loves. I find this particularly bad, because she knows I have high moral standards, and we even sent our two girls to Sunday school when they were children. My 18 yr old daughter played on a church basketball team for 10 years.

What do you think?

No, in the twelve years we have been together i have been out once, only because he did. Never ever cheated or given him a reason not to trust me. Same goes for him. I think we are so close in everything we do it just seems outrageous for me to do anything without him. Oh i have went out with my elderly aunts shopping on weekend trips during Christmas season.

Me and my girlfriend we are together for almost 3 months. I am 40 and she is 32
I go often at her appartment and she cooks for me. We have an honest relationship (I believe)
We have discussed about the medications we both take
We met at yahoo personals.
Yesterday I introduced her at my best friend. Before that she offered me a red rose.
Somehow we had a conversation after that and she proposed me to live with her for some time and marry her. That was suddent.
Its not that I don’t want but is it too early?
I have never been married and I don’t know what should I do and what movements so this can be succesfull. Maybe some more time to establish that we or she really is what she wants?
Please give some advices according to your experience
Thank you

Throughout our relationship my husband has done things that have really hurt me and made me feel unimportant. A recurring theme is devoting more time, attention or affection to other things/people. He is in the Army and we got married a year ago, right after we got married, we moved to Germany and have been here ever since. I am terribly lonely and bored; the majority of my time is spent at home waiting for him. I feel like I have made so many sacrifices for him and he doesnt appreciate it. Once we had an argument over playing rugby. He wanted to be on a team that practices 2 nights a week with games on Sat. I was hurt that he would be willing to give up so much time with me. I understand wanting to play but doesnt he realize all I do is sit alone and wait for him and he would be doubling that? Just an example. Sometimes I feel like I am being selfish and other times I feel like I deserve all his love and attention for the sacrifices I have made to be with him. Advice/opinions please

My finace & I have been 2gether 5 years now and are having problems over his 10 yr old daughter. I have always been nice to her & tried to treat her as i do my own child who is 8. Then over Xmas when he had her for visitation she brought a journal with her & she wrote nothing but lies in it. This is not the 1st time she has made up stuff. She accused my son of hitting her & yelling at her & he wasnt even there. Anyway to make a long story short, her father had a talk with her, she never got in any kind of trouble or anything which is an ongoing arguement because she can do whatever she wants with no consequences and my son who lives with us 24/7 has rules he has to follow. My fiance is now on a different shift at work & has asked me to pick her up on the friday nights when he has his visitation. I do not feel comfortable being left alone with her since this last incident of her lies eventhough he says he knows none of what she has said is true. Am i wrong for feeling this way.

you ladies are so sure that it would never happen to you, yet you are the ones that make it so easy to cheat on.

All the signs could be right in front of you, yet your stubbornness hide the realities.

If you are appauled by this comment, then you know what i say is true deep down.

I'm from a generation where divorce is natural. So I work hard at my relationship to make sure that I won't be a casuality of divorce. I've been married for 6 years, to a man that I love very much. We've been through some really tough times and some really great times. We argue sometimes though. One time about 3 years ago we got in such a heated arguement (about gas in a car of all things, of which I started) that he grabbed me and pushed me (only after I threw a very full can of slimfast at him). He apologized and said it would never happen again. However, the other night we got into an arguement (this time i didn't start it...a first for me), it escalated to a point where he pushed me onto the bed and pinned me down and yelled at me. It scared me beyond belief. I love my husband, but I'm scared of him now. I don't want to get a divorce, this is the man I wan to have kids with. He apologized and cried, but I don't know. Is this marriage worth saving?

My boyfriend and I have been discussing marriage. He is 25 and I am 38. We have both been married before but truly feel like we are meant for each other. He is the love of my life. My parents love him and I get along great with his family (my parents hated my ex and can see how wonderful my boyfriend is to me and how respectful he is to them).

He told me that he plans to approach my dad for his blessing before he proposes to me out of respect for my parents. Is this done anymore? I love him for even thinking of doing this but I didnt think this was a common thing anymore. What do you think?

Tell him early in the day how naughty you've been and that you need a good spanking later on? Then slip into bed only after he is fast asleep.

Doesn't work though....... I just got it the next morning!

After 8 months of being with the one you love in an amazing relationship to the point where you made that person your life, how do you move on. To top it all off you both want to be together, but your forced not to be because the love of your life must move back home 100 of miles away, due to not being able to support himself here. WHAT DO I DO , MY HEART IS IN A MILLION PEICES.

How long does it take to get served papers after filing for divorce? My husband told me he filed for divorce 2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten papers. Then he told my boss that he was just thinking about it. Was he telling me the truth when he said he filed already? Should I have already gotten served if he did?

I'm happily married and have feelings for someone else at my job.

We started out as friends, and I really want to make sure I remain friends. How do I turn off my romantic feelings?

BTW: I have no idea if she feels the same about me.

Hi,

This happened last night that I happened to see scratches on my husband's back (I did take 3 pictures of the scratches). The moment I saw those red scratches on his back, I was steamingly MAD and asked him how those scractches got on his back.

The reason I was mad because the scratches looked exactly like someone with 10 long fingernails scracthed on both sides horizontally on his back. And the scratches are red.

He told me he must have got them from working out at the gym. I said how that could happen when he had his T-shirt on while working out. They really did not look like to me that he got hurt with those scratches from working out.

What do you think? Please give me any insight if does this make sense to you or anyone of you have had this experience. I don't want to be a fool in my marriage and most importantly, I can't never accept to be cheated on. We have no kid yet and have been married for almost 7 years.

I do want to end this marriage now. Thanks a lot!
