I recently took an out of state promotion in Jan. my wife who was behind me in this move, and was able to transfer to the same city with her company, has now decided to stay where she is I believe for the social life she enjoys there. Now I also need to add that I work nights and she works days, so our time together has been limited the last few years. I did not expect her to sit on the couch by herself every night. However, lately it has turned into 3-4 nights a week that she goes to the bar. If I don't make the effort to drive 7 hours on the weekend to see her, then I don't because she will not come to where I am at. Or meet me halfway. We have been married close to 10 years now. But I feel as though there is someone or something else. She gets evasive when I ask why she did not want to move with me. I made this move to better our lives. I think I made it worse. Or brought out what was going to happen sooner. Should I just go ahead and let her go?

Have you been completely faithful to this person? By choice?

Do you ever mourn not being single?

Would it be as solid a relationship if you were just co-habiting?

my husband has his son 50% of the time.He divorced his ex when tom was just a baby and i have been in his life since he was 2yrs old so this life is all tom knows. But in the last yr or so tom has gotten very jealous of me and wants his dad to himself. Now my husband is the perfect dad and spends quality time with his son alone and with me.But lately tom does not even want his dad to watch tv with me after he goes to bed he wants him to stay with him till he falls asleep. If my husband trys to talk to me about something tom starts climbing all over us trying to get attention from his dad.now my husband spends almost all his time with tom(we never get a babysitter when tom is over we just go out when we don't have tom) playing and doing what he wants. but when we do talk tom will make my husband feel guilty by saying things like "Its my special time with u do something with her when i'm not here" can anyone tell me why he is doing this?

I have been here only two days and have found 99% of the questions regarding divorce, property settlements, pre-nups, child custody, support and visitation, and probate have the same issues. a lack of factual data on which to offer a valid opinion.

That's why I am wasting a question to try and help those of you BEFORE posting.

If you have a question regarding one of these issues then please do yourself and those who may try to help you a favor and supply the following:

Were the two of you married?
In what state was the custody, visitation, divorce and/or property settlement issued (court order)

If pertaining to a child, and unmarried, did the father sign an affidavit of paternity?

If pertaining to a child and married, was the child born within 6 months of being married or divorced?

If visitation, what does your order state regarding the issue?

Is it illegal for a 15 yr old and a 22 yr old to be together? Say this 15 yr old and 22 yr old are dating, no sex, parent permission, etc. Is this legal? Can the 22yr old have any charges pressed agianst him? On sort of the same topic, if they were having sex, is there ANY way the 22 yr old could get off-parent permission, love, etc.? AND this is all coming from the mouth of the 15 yr old just to let you know. Please no rude comments (ex. he should be locked up, that's gross, etc.). Thank you!

I fell out of love and got bored with my husband and started a relationship with a coworker. We have been together for almost 17 years and have three kids. When he found out that I wanted to leave him he freaked out and had to go to the hospital for what they called "emotional shock". I'm with my new lover now but just curious if that sounds like normal behavior?I might go for full custody if that doesn't sound normal.

i have a 2 year old daughter and have raised her almost completely by myself with little help from her father. now that i am dating he is angry and wants to take her from me. reason being he thought we could get back together and is afraid someday ill make him pay child support and thinks that will go towards a man. he wants her half time or more, but already has a 10 year old he passes around to his family or whoever is able to care for her. he has had 12 jobs in last 2 years, just now got a place to live and call home, goes out all the time, never payed his bills on time, changes his daughters school yearsly to whichever is convenient, and doesnt take the raising my child right as serious as i do. he has more money than me and a better attorney and is getting just what he wants, like all i have to say doesnt matter! i want him to see her, but i want her primary residence to be with me so i can maintain a stable life for her. and yeah, i want child support too...what do i do?

me. I was cleared of the accusation , but we actually got back together for about 6 months. When we seperated again , I got the children, but we never went to the court to change the temp custody order. In the meantime he is living with another woman - he has lived with her for over a year now, I have had the kids the majority of the time for almost 2 years. majority of the time meaning I have them usually 5 to 6 days out of the week. I am trying to finalize our divorce now, but he is using the temp order against me , trying to get out of paying child support. If it says in the temp order he is not allowed to expose our children to his paramour (sp) ( his girlfriend ) isn't he violating the temp custody order by living with another woman and would the temp custody order still be valid? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED :-)

An escaped convict broke into a house and tied up a young couple who had been sleeping in the bedroom. As soon as he had a chance, the husband turned to his voluptuous young wife, bound-up on the bed in a skimpy nightgown, and whispered,
"Honey, this guy hasn't seen a woman in years. Just cooperate with anything he wants. If he wants to have sex with you, just go along with it and pretend you like it. Our lives depend on it!"
"Dear," the wife hissed, spitting out her gag, "I'm so relieved you feel that way, because he just told me he thinks you have a nice, tight butt!"

I was watching Schindler's list the other day, and noticed that Emilie Schindler was uncomfortable, but not necessarily upset that Oskar's had many different girlfriends. And in history it was fairly common for many wealthy men to have a wife and mistresses....I'm just curious if women were more comfortable/expecting/accepting/tolerant of this kind of behavior than they are now?

Hi, This is hard for me to talk about but I am desperate. i have been married for 12 years, my wife suffers from clinical depression and has extreme emotional problems. she has been on almost every drug for depression but she is still down and miserable, she sees a Dr. and a conselor but nothing is working, she talks about her misery and despair on a daily basis. I have been the only support she got for years now as most of her family and friends choose not to be around her anymore including her parents. I take care of everything in our life and feel exremelly overwhelmed and tired. I have no hapiness in my life, my love for her now is not romantic but I can not bring myself to leave because of the guilt and the effects it might have on her, i feel as if I am about to leave a baby in the middle of the road and walk away. her issues are consuming me, she constatnly cries and wishes she was dead. I am lost and feel that my life is passing me by. I am 35 and have no kids

I am twenty and my father is pressuring me to sign a will that makes him the person in charge. While all the money goes to my siblings, I don't feel comfortable giving him all the power. However my parents are divorced and I don't want either of them to be in charge. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

After you had your first child how did you find it? Did you find yourself more vulnerable than usual to the lures of other woman during this time? (ie were u more tempted to have an affair if the opportunity presented itself) if so what was the worst time, up 3 months after birth, up to 6months after or over 6months?

I swear to God I can't keep up with her mood swings and circular logic. I beg her to stop arguing and she will for 10 minutes and start back up again. It's like being trapped in an endless loop! If I think I've satisfied one particular topic of argument, she'll take a completely different path and I have to start all over! Is it her, me, or are all women just nuts!?

I have had physical custody of my children, alone, for 9 months. Their father and I were never married, but were together 7 years (without commonlaw). We have a pending custody case. I want to help my mother who just lost my father. I would like to leave state for 5-6 months. Can I do this? I have been calling my lawyer all day and she has not returned my calls yet.

Well basically I have a so-called fiance who says "Oh babe, we don't need to get married right now. We need more time because I don't want to end up in a divorce after a few months".

I don't get it? If he truly loves me and wants things to work between us then isn't it supposed to be "For better or worse, through thick and thin"? I mean there is a reason they included those words in the verse. We already have a child together, and I know I love him with all my heart, and I wouldn't want to make things work with anyone else. I'm commited to him. So why doesn't he feel the same?? Is it cold feet?? HELP me understand. PLEASE!!

Signed,
Frustrated
