Good for you! I think its great that you want to date again. My grandma recently remarried after being a widow for a few years. She met a childhood sweetheart at a funeral and he asked her to go eat dinner with him. They have been like peas and carrots ever since. They married in January and she looks like she dropped five years and twenty pounds. Good luck! Look up some former classmates. Go to senior citizen functions. Maybe find a church with lots of senior members. Good luck!

Theres always a way if you want something bad enough. Im impressed with your attitude of not giving up and being old. Check the personals in the newspapers. I know here in Florida theres alot of elder citizens looking for friendship so you may want to get hold of som Florida papers. Some new stands carry papers from all over. When you least expect it though, Prince Charming will come riding up, maybe not on the shining white horse but in a horse and buggy instead. I wish you all the luck in finding someone

How cute are you. I had to respond. I don't even have the answer for my age bracket let alone yours. But what I do find is a guys mysteriously appear in my life when I am not looking. Right now I am not looking and could live the rest of my life doing my own thing and guys are appearing everywhere. Go figure.

Its great that your going to websites to find someone. Which is where I met my now husband, well yahoo chat actually. But I am sure if you look in your area theres normally clubs or places to go to meet others in the area your age etc. I would start out by ringing around at different functions. Best of Luck!

All men at that age are not all married. First mistake, is negativity. Secondly, you are brave with the websites, I will be doing it too! Try some of those social dinners they have in the small towns. Put an ad in the local newspaper, he could be right around the corner.

It's as wrong as a 70 year old woman dating a 31 year old man.

Announcing that you're available to family & friends is a good way to start. Tell them that you're looking and willing to date and that they should set you up with eligible men.
Sometimes people don't want to offend you by fixing a date - but if you tell them upfront that you're ready & willing to be set up, they will jump into it and help you out.

Go do something that you find fun. Get out and find a few groups to join. Network a bit and you'll find the guys.

Get a part-time job. Nothing serious. Find someone there who likes you and date them. Even if they are younger!!!! A lot of girls dig older men - just not the types who need their diapers changed.
Anyway, get a life man!! It's been 20 YEARS!!!!!! HOLY SMOKES!!!
And forget about "church" - only losers go there.
