I was married to a great man who took care of my daughter (wasn't his, but loved her as his own, and pays support for her on his own accord, I've asked for nothing) we grew apart and now I am married to a man that has a harpie for an ex girlfriend who has 2 children. Even though they are not his, the laws in Canada makes him pay child support. The amount you can't even believe!!! I feel horrible for any young man that gets involved with a woman who has children, and in this day in age it almost seems impossible.

My husband wants a divorce. I recently fell into a depression and now I am doing better. During that time, we were fighting and I explained to him about my depression. He says he forgave me but he will always use how I treated him during my depression against me in the future. He wants a divorce. He had a abusive childhood and was married prior for 12 years to a woman who constantly cheated on him. Trying to understand why this is happening but I just can't seem to grasp it. We were having financial difficulties and I didn't have a job because I lost mine so I did everything I could to keep us afloat. I cashed CD's and bonds but nothing is good enough it seems. He still wants to divorce. Please help!!!!! He says he loves me and I know I love him but what the heck is he thinking?

My husband and I have been only married about 6 months. However, ever since the wedding... (actually a few months before even), his sex drive dropped to almost nothing.

He was taking two medications that are known to cause a lack of sex drive... so 3 months ago we went to the doctor with the delima and got him on some new meds that don't have that side-effect.

My husband says it's getting better (he says he's getting erections durning the day at odd times, ie. driving for no reason).

I've tried to be supportive and not push the subject. However, my sex drive has not altered in one bit. I get so frusterated when I tell him I'm horny then blow him in the shower... cause he likes that... but then he never returns the favor. He hasn't touched anything below my breasts in over 6 weeks. (We went on a 6 week dry spell before I cracked and he finally gave me a 3 min quickie, whoppie!).

Anyways, are there any husbands out there that know they have this problem too? What can I do?

I went to India in 1978 and married I was 15 years old and from the U.S., my "husband" was 30 years old and from India, I was an emancipated minor in the U.S. and my husbands Father signed for me as guardian in India to be married. We came back to the U.S. a month later, and have had two beautiful children. My Husband is now deceased and I have been told since that our marriage was not really legal, and I was hoping a Lawyer in India could tell me if this is true? My parents had not given permmission, but I was emancipated so did not think I needed permmission. Any help is appreciated, and if it matters our children are over 18, so no one is expecting to get social security benefits!

My husband and I have participated in a FFM threesome, and it went very well!!! I had no jealousies (that really lasted) and I've considered doing it again. But now I want to have a MMF threesome. We are in a long distance relationship (military) right now, so we have to verbalize alot over the phone and computer. We've included a man, from where he is, in on our conversations, and it didn't fair well with my husband, but he's agreed to follow through with my wishes to have the MMF threesome. I really want to do it, I like the guy we've chosen, but I don't want to upset my husband. I think it would be only fair that he do this for me, since I did the FFM for him, but I don't want to ruin our marriage of 6 years. I really want to do the MMF threesome, so how do I handle this???

My husband is going to spend at least 20 years in prison. I have been emailing an x-boyfriend and I think that some old feelings have come back. The problem is the old boyfriend is all the way on the other side of The US, I probably will never get to see him either. But is it okay if I still talk to him and say I love you to him?????

My husband and I got married in June of 06 while he was on leave from Iraq. While he was in Iraq everything was great, he would call me everyday, email, send flowers, we'd chat on yahoo. He was stationed in Germany and once he left Iraq he stopped calling and all that. I found out he was cheating and he blamed everything on me, I don't think I ever did anything wrong. Well we keep going back in forth bc he chooses to keep in contact with this woman who's overseas. Everytime he would come home on leave he would promise he'd change but would go back to doing the same thing. I feel its very disrespectful that he still talks to this woman who has caused so many problems. But he told her he would always be there for her. I'm still with him bc I hope he changes, but I don't see it.

Do you think that men and women really get the "Seven Year Itch"? Do you think that after a while people get board with their marrige and cheat on their patners. Maybe thats the reason why so many people cheat.

My husband and I are trying to make our 6 yr marriage work. He is really trying hard. He treats me really good but last night when I asked if he was starting to love me he got frustrated and said “I treat you good don’t I? what more do you want?” when I said love he replied “If I was with someone I loved I would probably treat her the same way I treat you, so I don’t understand what more you want from me, what else do you want me to do?... next time you ask I should just say I do”.

He didn't love me when we first got married, but since he does care deeply for me and we have two kids, we decided to try to make it work.

He cares about me a LOT and he shows it... but I would like to have a spouse who loves me. Is he right to feel frustrated? Should I be content with support, care, fidelity...? isn't that just a very nice friendship?...maybe loved is reserved for someone lese...

: ( I really wanted (and thought I deserved)... to be LOVED

My girlfriend of 15 years is getting married. She has come home (she lives out of state) to have a small wedding. It was last minute because her grandmother is sick. My husband has never liked my girlfriend (for reasons that are unmerited) His excuse is there is not enough time to plan for it, which is ludicris.(we never do anything). some background on my husband is he is very controlling. When I stated to him that I was going anyway he said if I did he was leaving me. Please, should I go to the wedding and let him vent his tantrum or be the submissive wife and not go to the wedding. It is really embarrassing. Everyone knows if I don't show up it is because of him. Not going would never be my choice.

whinning? I had a bad experience at a graduation party on several levels, I did share some negative things that happened to me but my husband said I was whinning. I did not use a whinning tone, just needed to vent and talk about it. Ive got no other person to share this with and I thought that was what he is suppose to be there for. I've listened to him plenty and sided with him too. But when the situation is turned around he calls it whinning. Im ticked right now!

I'm getting married in a few months. I sometimes feel really depressed liking I'm making a poor choice. I feel frustrated a lot because I don't often get much acknowledgement. I am never told I look nice, and I'm even jealous of the cat because she gets petted. He's a nice guy, and very nice... what to do?

We know she is a prescription meds abuser, with a long track record in all hospitals within a three hour radius. She has had to move from towns brfore because of her and her mothers abuse of prescription meds. She has my husbands almost 18 month old son and it is not a good situation. We know she is using drugs again, maybe even cocaine. She begs his parents for money and even for meds. We are tired of knowing his son is unhealthy and neglected and paying child support is a joke because it just goes up her nose. My husband is afraid to call Children's Services and her end up running. We haven't seen the baby in over four months because she won't comply to visitation. We are just tired of seeing the baby dirty and in crappy old clothes and being left with her pill head mother for days at a time while she parties. She even drives with him while drugged up. Has anyone else ever dealt with this and have any idea of what Children's Services will do? We just don't want her to run.

I read with shock the answers to the question below. My oldest uncle tried that. He brought the other woman, now wife, to a family event. Everyone ignored her. They still ignore her. No one else in the family has done that ( at least no one knows about it.) It is disresepctful to not only the former spouse but the kids and family. Why do people do that crap?

----Why did you ACCEPT THE OW or OM so easily?
This question is to in-laws, neighbors, friends, relatives, co-workers.

This isn't a challenge. I just want to know. Did you think that this may happen to you? How would you feel if your spouse had an affair and then left you for that person and everyone around you, while saying that they like and love you and are supposedly your friends, open up and simply substitute you with the new person?

I am over him. I couldn't have such a liar back in my life. I am just very disappointed. Maybe that is why people are voting for Rudy Guilliani. That is just how it is.-------

If you think that you are in a happy marriage, are you absolutely sure that your spouse is also happily married? If you are the unhappy spouse in a marriage, have you told your spouse that you're unhappy? Or do you just pretend to be happy to keep the peace and avoid the verbal abuse, like me?

What are the main advantages of getting married compare being single?

I am not sure if I am crazy; absurdly jealous or way too accommodating...

My boyfriend of going on two years seems to cycle through girl “friends” with systematic regularity… about every 3 months he has another friend is part of his conversation regularly… he gets text messages and calls from these women and then they cycle off…

I finally called him on it the last time around… maybe I am nuts; but I don’t think that if you live with someone; you should be having multiple casual relationships with other people… I don’t have any “guy” friends who call me at home. I don’t have any guy friends who txt me at random hours and if I did; trust me; he would not be nearly as accommodating as I am.

Again; maybe it is me… my ex-husband cheated as did a long term boyfriend and I never once suspected… now I am hyper-sensitive and don’t want to be made a fool of again…

Hubbie and I have been married for eight years. We have two kids. I think we are in some kind of "platonic" stage in our marriage. Our sex life is ziltch. At first, several years ago, we tried hard to keep the sparks going but slowly it has disappeared where we have sex maybe once every two months or so. Neither of us wants it this way, it just seems like it is just too much work to keep it going. When we fall into bed at night all we are looking for is sleep. We love each other bunches but now it's more like a close friendship. Have you ever been through this? If so, were you able to change it? How?
