The Church's are no longer allowed to offer counceling... This ended about 5 years ago due to the molestation by the preists being held as confidential. You should look for a LMFT (licensed mairrage & family therapist)

I think, it is rare that one goes to church for marriage counseling. But it is very essential to consult with church according to religious tradition. On the other hand, you can go any licensed marriage counseling center.
