Ellen, I would feel the same if this was going on with someone who I was with. It is called emotionally cheating and sometimes this is be more devastating then any one of them because they connect on an emotional level with another woman. I would be careful if this is a trend for him.

you should have taken your time in looking for a boyfriend...if you don't analyze past relationships and try to figure out why they didn't work so you don't make the same mistakes again in your next relationship, you'll always end up with guys who are similar in every which way but have different faces.

I dont think you are overreacting but I do think you are way too passive about things. I find it odd that you have had to other relationships cheat on you and you had no suspicion at all!! This is crazy there is always a hint. No one is perfect at cheating. Open your eyes and please stop being a victim.

An emotional affair is still an affair. Its one thing to run in to an old girlfriend and be friendly, It's another to have them in contact all the time. I wouldn't put up with it and if he has a problem with letting them go, I wouldn't put up with him anymore either. He would prove that he wasn't as committed as you are. It's not you. It's him and its garbage.

Your boyfriend sounds like he's dating a variety of other girls, but because he calls them 'friends' you're supposed to accept it. But if you're shacking up with him without being married, he doesn't take you seriously-- you're a convenience, and he's making a fool out of you.

Maybe these girls find out that he's living with his g/f and that's why they cycle out of his life.
Ask him if you can read their texts. If he says no, then you know he's up to no good.
