What are the main advantages of getting married compare being single?

When there is sorrow, it is halved. When there is joy it is doubled. It is a wonderful experience in life. Marry someone you are willing to die for.

If you were born to take from this world the things which gratify your desires, marriage is not good. In fact, the whole world, from this perspective, is pretty stinky.
But, if you make it your mission in life to want to help other people and give to them, marriage is an awesome option for two reasons. First, it gives you the opportunity to build up a strong understanding and bond with another person and give to them, everyday, that which what they need. Secondly, being married makes it much easier to help other people. Two married people, loyal to eachother, acting in partnership can accomplish more than that of two separate lone persons. If you look at this world and you want to give, being married increases the positive affects you and your partner can have on this world.
The main advantages of getting married are only for people interested in being givers. To love is to give. The more you give the more you will love and the happier you will be.

It isnt about advantages. It is about finding someone that makes you happy, and making a family and having a complete and happy life.
You should stay single until you find that one girl that you can feel in your heart that you can not live without her and she feels the same way, then get married. Dont rush into it and dont get married for the "advantages"

People that are married tend to live longer.
Our partner in marriage is usually also our best friend. What could be better than spending the rest of your life with your best friend.
Double incomes are a plus too!

Cheaper car insurance. Getting married is just a piece if paper. You don't need it to prove that you love someone. Sure it's nice to say "my husband" or "my wife" but there is so much stress and headaches involved with it. Plus, look at the divorce rate. If you find someone that you are truely in love with, you shouldn't need a label or a piece of paper to prove it.
