Marriage & Divorce - 16 May 2007

I've always been fun loving, giving, forgiving,long suffering, and extremely interested in pleasing my husband in every way(I feel that it's my duty).We've been married a little less than a year and the longer we're married, the harder he is to please. I'll ask him what he wants for dinner. He says "what do you want to fix?" I say, "I don't care, what sounds good to you?" He gets mad and says, "Now that's not what I asked is it?" I'll misunderstand something he says because it' about a subject that I'm not very knowledgable in(like cars)He'll get mad and yell, "Is that what I said?" He doesn't like the way I've raised MY daughters, but his daughter has 2 illegitimate children from 2 different guys. But MY girls can't do anything right. If I don't agree with everything he says, he's mad. If I try to help him with something, he says I don't think that he can do it by himself. He very seldom let's me do anything for him(rub his back, try to give sexual pleasure, etc) but he does it for me

I was with my husband for 4 years before we got married only about six months ago. Well, we are having so many problems with fighting and not getting along. And with our fighting or arguing about stupid crap he is getting more and more aggitated with me and now is calling me names. I know he doesn't mean it when he says mean things and he always says sorry, but it doesn't make the pain I feel go away after he calls me names. Well, I finally told him a few weeks ago how his horrible name calling and us fighting all the time is getting to me. It makes me so upset that sometimes I just cry even when we are not fighting or nothing has happened. Well, now this week he said he has been thinking a lot over the past few weeks and he thinks it would be best if we live separately for awhile. He says he loves me with all his heart and hates to seem me hurting and he wants to take the time of living separate to work on our friendship b/c it seems that we have lost that. What do you think?

I went out with my girlfriend for 4 years and we just had some miscommunications, she brokeup with me and 5 months later she was married to some friend that she hadnt seen in years. The relationship was great but rocky in the sense that we always said we would get married, then i chickened out and told her to wait. So, I know the majority of this is SADLY my fault, she couldnt wait anymore through my false promises. I am too sad to describe.
She has been married now 3 months, and she has called me a few times, we have spoken on messenger (she always initiates it) and each time she ends up yelling at me, telling me I waited too long, that I SHOULD have done, all these things. Instead of saying she loves this guy, she only says that he "treats her so nice, he loves me." She even said that she was tired of waiting for me, and she wanted to be a wife, she preferred with me,but couldnt wait anymore. Is she happy? She says she is, but honestly? why is she still so angry?

I am 4 months prego w/ my husband's baby...i have recently found out that he has been talkin with some internet girl, i know he never physically cheated yet, i busted him out before that could happen, but he did have plans meeting her, and they talked about sexual things back n fourth...Would you think it is worth trying to work out, or just kick him to the curb?I don't know that i can ever trust him again...if so it will be a long time from now! I am 28, and he's 38. Could it be because he's older than me that he thinks he gets to be the boss?

We have this beautiful Laural tree that grows at the side of the house. I love it because it stays green all year round. My husband feels the need to hack it down once a month because he thinks that if it gets tall enough, rats will get on our roof.
What harm could rats do on the roof?
And second, He never cleans up the pruinings, (says he will, but never gets to it) So I end up doing it.
I really love that tree, and it looks so ugly now. I actually cried the first time he took the chain saw to it because he does a terrible job.

This is the story of our whole relationship. He's always making the executive decision, and I rarely get a say.

To all you men out there who find the idea of having a baby with your parner a scary prospect, please can you answer me from the heart why?

Im a 29 year old female, and have been with my husband 5 years and I love him so much I would love to start a family with him, but he says he is scared ( I admire his honesty) its been on going for 2 years. I know as a woman it is natural to feel this amazing erge to want a child. I dont feel scared at all.

Can some guy tell me what it means when my Fiance gets drunk after reading an e mail from me? To explain it a bit,he's in WA I'm in Germany.We got engaged last Sep when I was in WA to visit him for a month,then we found out his (ex) wife never finalized the divorce and we can't put our visa papers in.She avoids being served with the papers and he thinks about giving up on our future because there's no telling how long divorce and visa will take and there for when we can finally be together.So he quit talking to me (for the 3rd time in 2 years) and tries to fight his feelings.I sat down and sent that mail telling him how much I love him,and reminding him of things that happened in the two years of our relationship.He raed the e mail and according to a friend got up and poured the first drink.And my man hardly EVER drinks.Is that a sign that it got to him and that he can no longer fight his feelings??? I KNOW he loves me,don't doubt that but he's fighting it(again).

I found out my wife cheated two years ago and i chose to give her another chance. well since then ive found several texts and calls on her cell phone to this same guy. ive talked to her about it and got the usual im sorry it wont happen again with tears.she says she loves me and shes happy with me and she doesnt want to split. My wife and her mother on on the deed, I've been paying my share since 2004 My wife and i have are going through a divorce but it's to expensive. I think we're playing the waiting game. Well my wife and her brother moved out. I received a 14 day notice to quit. Im scared and upset. I can pay what I owe by next week. I will pay as much as I can on Friday.
Its my understanding that I have to leave and if after 14 days are up, I need to go to court but that could take a few weeks.
I have nowhere to go, noone to take me and my family in.
If i get evicted, I wont be able to get another lease for years probably.
My husband was out of work and now finally has work. We have been late before.I got a raise at work, and my husband's new job has been giving him overtime when it can.
People say save for a rainy day, set aside 2 mos rent in case things go wrong.But we were living paycheck to paycheck and couldnt afford to.
We have no luxury in our lives.No vacations in 6 years, cant remember last nice dinner out.so dont say cut back there is no where to cut back.
I will talk to office today but I feel hopeless, what can i say to these ppl?

My boyfriend is older than me, we live together and are very happy together. But lately he has been trying to dictate where my life is going and how I get there, kind of like controlling. I tell him to please stop and if I make a mistake then I have to deal with it! Let me make mistakes and be my own person!!! We live together and before this week he was perfect. Happy, funny, in love. Everything was literally heaven. We were planning on an engagement in a few months and have already kind of started planning.
Now all of a sudden, meaning starting monday, hes been mean! Monday we got in a big crying fight and it ended with us saying how much we loved each other and as far as I could tell, the fight was completely over and we were all good. So then, yesterday he comes home and is just 'grumpy'. Theres no other word for it really. He is being careless with things, throwing them down. I said "I love you more than anything" in bed and he said "yeah I can tell" or when he got back into bed from peeing in the middle of the night i went in to kiss him and he yelled "Can I at least get comfortable???"
