Marriage & Divorce - 10 May 2007

I have been married to a lovely man for only a year. We have been together 4 years, living together over 2 years. I cant say that weve always had a fantastic relationship but he is very kind, caring, generous, he would never betray me or cheat on me. We both work long hours in stressful jobs. We got married & I came off the pill just b4 we wed so that we could try for a baby straightaway. We had a fabulous honeymoon & we were very happy. But when we came back from honeymoon, we didnt make love for 2 months! He wanted a baby just as much as me. He has 2 sons from his previous marriage, who we have 3 days a week, every week. My self esteem dropped to nothing. I tried talking to him, screaming at him, writing him letters but he always just said he was tired. I met a man just as a friend & confident, however, that has led to an affair. My husband did start paying me more attention around Christmas time but by then, I had fallen for this other man. I no longer love my wife and the only reason I'm with her is because of my 19 month old daughter whom I love so much.

I'm very civil and polite to her, I don't think she really believes that I no longer love her which makes it even harder because I feel sorry for her and am not too keen on breaking her heart.

On the other hand I'm now very depressed and can't even show it at home so I have to keep up a smile and ahappy face....but surely there's a point when I have to stop and say enough of this? can anyone help me here? on one hand I don't want to lose my kid ( which I surely will ) and on the other hand I'm just getting more and more derpressed ... please only answer if you're going to reply decently. My husband used to subcribe to a porno website and he received the daily emails of naked women in his inbox. Occasionally, when he's free, he'll download and save it in a disc, but, he's very open and let me see the pics and tell me I can view them if I like. He just save it for a collection purpose. Is this normal or has he become a sex weirdo? Or whether, what he said is true, just for collection purposes? The only thing that I felt uneasy about this is because I'm currently pregnant and am not sure when my husband viewed those photos, is there any meaning behind it? Any advise or that's normal for every man to view naked pics sometimes?

Before we got married we always talked about having kids but now that we are married (4years) my husband says he doesn't want children.We use to fight about this a lot but the last few months it got so emotionaly tiering that i just kept my mouth even though I'm deing inside. i am getting married for 2nd time next month. However i have a couple of concerns the first is that i am wary about committing financially to my new husband. We have a mortgage and joint bank accounts but i have a large lump sum that i got from my divorce settlement that i want to keep as a safety net. Do you think this is a warning sign or sensible for modern relationships. I might add that my ex ripped me off financially as i inherited a large sum during our marriage that i had to half with him as i had put it all on the house.
this time i am a lot more wary also my partner has debts that he kept secret from me and yesterday i snooped and found he had an appointment with the bank but i cant ask him about it because i snooped. i asked him what he had done yesterday and he said nothing. he can be very secretive and keeps all his credit card bills at his work. I know everyone needs privacy and i dont want to seem controlling but is ok ?

Which wouldn't be a problem except we have two children togeather. He sees our son 8yrs once a fortnight for 1day and hasn't seen our daughter 4yrs since she was 1 when he left.
We had a pretty normal break-up bit of bad blood both sides but nothing extreme he ended up with my then best friend. I am now completely over him and the hurt of the whole thing but would like some form of contact between us for our childrens sake. His current partner (my ex best friend) is insecure and the only contact I have with him is thru sms on her cell phone. I want to begin some contact between us but don't know how or what to do?? I don't have his land line number or address just her cell phone number. She would probably do anything to stop any contact between us how do I make them understand I am over it and not a threat?

some body jumps in a marriage with a view to earn a fortune through his wife and later finds not so hopeful and try his luck somewhere else by trying to divorse his present wife in the pretext of incurable mental disorder within 1st year of his marriage, how can we fight against such lustful greedy people
who are hungry to be rich my marrying and desert his wife in the midnight once his ambition is not fulfilled? Is it not a social crime? Such people are in the prey to destroy many more family lives just to be rich overnite. Please submit your experience, guidelines on the matter. Thank you.

Hey guys.. my girl has been out since 8 pm, she said she is with her friend. Well it is almost 3 am, and she still isn't home. I'm in this relationship and my fiance has a daughter with his wife!! But they have been seperately over a year!! And the son isn't his!!! In the beginning the relationship me and his kids got along great, and then i meet his wife and she brings unneccessary drama and now the relationship isnt the same!!

The son is great, he listens, and is cool besides all he likes to do is play video games and never do family stuff!!
And the daughter is just like her momma, she doesn't listen and she has to have everything her way, and because of her mom talking bad about me to her daughter she is rude,disrespectful!! I have been dating this guy 4 a few weeks & I thought everything was going fine, it‘s safe to say all the dates have been perfect. The 1st day we started talking he has this cousin (a boy) who he does everything 4 even at the expense of himself. The cousin is younger (17) & the guy I’m dating is 28. He is the driver, food getter, the errand runner, u name it he does it. He even cut a date short with me because the cousin was in need. He says that him & his cousin r working on a few jobs together which takes up a lot of his time & these jobs are keeping his cousin from a life of crime, that's why he does it. I feel due to the fact he just got out of a 4 year relationship 6 months ago he turned to his cousin to fill that void. My question if for four days now he has touched based with me at work through IM telling me he would call me later on that night and he has not yet.
