umm... well, marriage- although described as such, isn't like riding a horse. You can't just get on... kick and get off when the ride gets boring. Marriage is the bonding of two people who really love each other, want to spend the rest of thier life together. That can't be answered by past experience, but how close you feel to your partner. I wish you luck.

To answer correctly I would like to know how many years the 1st one lasted. My own experience is by all means do so,Love is better the 2nd time around and much better than you could even imagine.Sorry to say my 2nd didn't last either. My 1st was 19 1/2yrs and my 2nd lasted 15yrs and I'm still going thru that divorce. We split 2yrs. ago and its still not over.I will also tell you if the 2nd one ends it also hurts worst than the 1st,at least thats what it feels like to me.I only know how I feel and I do wish everyday I could do something to change how she feels but I know in my heart I can't.We all have to get up brush ourselves off and try again, once you've felt true love there is nothing better.I think most of us want someone to Love and we want to be Loved.Good Luck to you and I hope very much so that you try again.

Figure out the reasons why the first marriage didn't work. Learn from the mistake and don't repeat them again. Communication, and compromise are the must have. Understanding and honesty are the plus. Sweet talk to your honey most of the time. And try not to go to bed angry at each other.

It wasn't until I met and feel in love with my wife that I understood the meaning of 'love.' Oh, I was very 'in love' with my first wife...but now I understand what true love is. I was in no hurry to repeat the mistakes and pain of my first foray into marriage, had no plans at all in fact...and then the sweetest, most beautiful, caring, funny (you get the picture right?) woman I have ever met, then or now, walked into my life.

Now...I am in love.

But only your heart knows if it's right for you. Don't forget to listen to the brain as well! Good luck whatever you decide.

Dear peachpie,

As long as God grant you love, no matter how many times you fall over it, you just can't avoid it.

However, no one can ever be sure of whether it'll be ok the 2nd or 3rd or 4th time round. Its a chance that you've got to take ya...

Have fun in planning for your wedding. Don't deprieve yourself of a deserving wedding just cause its ur 2nd time.

If your relationship with your new man has led you to the question of marriage, I believe it has reached a stage of readiness to commit regardless of your past or the future.

Its definately OK for you to do it the 2nd time round

OK that's great , you shouldn't give up of having a family life with a man loves you and you love him as will. but you should first think of things that made your first marriage failed and try to avoid them , even if they was your faults , try to avoid doing them again , also you should be honest with yourself and with the one that you are going to marry .
good luck .

Don't you think every marriage for the individual's concerned is different.
I don't understand why you would ask a question that no body would be able to answer truthfully.
Maybe try just staying bf & gf instead of getting married when it may fail.

You should only get married again if you don't plan on giving that one up. Otherwise you won't be happy!
