My long time best friend(15 years) left his wife after being together and seperated several times over the past 7 years. THey have been divorced for 1 1/2 years now, and it is clear that
we will be together. THe kids are 13 .6 and 5. When he is with them at (more than 1/2 of each week) He doesn't answer his phone or call me. He said he may be ready for me to meet them in a year. That seems like a long time. I love kids and am very good with them. I don't want to be their mom, but I would like to be acknowledged and respected. It would cut down tremendously on thelies he has to tell them when he is with me.

What do you think of people who cheat on their spouses? People who justify their actions by saying their needs were not being met or they were simply not happy? Is there any justification? Is wanting out of your marriage a valid reason for cheating? And what about tho "other" people? The ones who knowingly have affairs with people they know are married. What is your opinion of them?

Always half truth..Is this man confused??
This is what he wrote to me..
"Liking anyone involves an element of physical appeal...and I thought our first kiss was magical....but you oscillate in your choices, depending upon your mood - from liking at one end to disliking at the other..........so I never can figure out...what is it exactly....besides I think that first kiss was a fluke"
Is this man confused or he is trying to confuse

Your husband was away in Iraq for a year. Just before he comes home he tells you he wants a divorce. Then he apologizes and says he still loves you, just wants things to change. So he comes home and things are ok. But you catch him talking to some girl on the internet. You read the IM conversation, and it is not good. You question him about it, and he tells you she is just a friend that he has been talking to all year. He has told her intimate things about your relationship and marriage, things you do not normally tell a stranger. He admits to having cyber sex with her, but has never spoken to her on the phone, wrote real mail letters, or seen her on webcam, and of course has never met her. He agrees, to have this marriage work and move forward to not talk to her again. He deletes her from his friends list and blocks her. But what would you think? The talking/cyber was just something to pass time in Iraq...or there was a realtionship forming? Can I trust him never to talk to her again?

In July I re-connected with a woman I used to see several years ago. We have always been close and have great chemistry together. We met when she was single and I was struggling with a failing marriage. Right now we are both married, but she is currently separated. Once we started talking again it wasn't long before we were intimate. We hooked up several times over about 3-4 weeks. In late August she announced that she was pregnant. Two weeks before she gave me the news that she was expecting I happened to see a personals ad from her on the internet seeking another NSA hookup. She is now 20 months pregnant and yet refuses to take a paternity test, and claims the child is mine. I can not get a direct yes/no answer to whether she ever met anyone else while she was seeing me this summer. Since August I have been helping her with expenses related to the pregnancy, including a move closer to me. Don't I have the right to know if the unborn child is mine before things go much futher?

My sister has been with her husband for almost 3 years now, the have a wonderful marriage and a 9 month old baby together..who is an angel. The only problem they have is my brother in law's daughter. She is 10 years old and has made there lives a living hell since they got custidy of her last year. She lies, acts like a 5 year old when she doesn't get her way, to get attention she does the stupidest thing like takeing an hour to figure out how to spell YOUR, a word she learned in 1st grade, she has push the baby of the bed 2 time and pushed him over onto the hardwood floor and made his lip bleed,, in short makes my sisters life hell, her father is on the road 7 months out of the year and my sister has to raise her on her own. Her husbands ex-girlfiend, the mother of his daughter is taking them back to court for the 3rd time in one year, because they cut her hair without her permmision...which is a joke in my eyes but if she wants to waste her money go nuts!!

I find them to be annoying and can't believe how much time and energy is spent on weddings and NOT the marriage itself. I'm a firm believer in small weddings. It seems like more and more weddings these days are getting completely out of hand! What are some opinions on this?

I am in a relationship with a guy for the past 8 years. We have 2 children and are trying to make things work. The guy I am with now has really hurt me a lot in the past. He was hooked on drugs and liked to go out partying. The last 2 months he has been good but I can't trust him and not "in-love" with him anymore. Somethimes I wish I would have left him when I had a chance to. Should I try to forget my crush (believe me I've tried) and work it out with my guy? or try and break it off with my guy, which I believe we'll never be in that "lovey-dovey" place again and learn more about my "crush"?

My husband gave me a real, good lecture about me putting up continious questions about domestic discipline. I am to say I am sorry to those of you I have offended. That is my husband that responded to my question. He came under the "Carla's Husband" I.D. Anyway, I am sorry for offending people. I am permitted to still use this site, but I am NOT to ask anymore questions about domestic discipline. It is over that is for sure. Is this what everyone wanted?

Ok, I need serious ideas only. I really don't want to hear about your morals or mine either.
I am going in for surgery in a few weeks. I will not be able to have sex for several weeks afterwards.
I am planning on setting my husband up with different women that we know while I am out of comission. (We do have a open marriage)
I need other kinky ideas on things to do to him.
We both are really careful to practice safe sex so please nothing that will be unsafe.

When my husband knew that I found out he had been cheating on me, he kept avoiding me just in case a volcano erupts. I approached him calmly on a few occasions but would not communicate and indicatted he did not want counselling because, there was nothing wrong with him yet, he was treating me like dirt while dating and chatting women he got acquanteed with on the internet while I was in his presence!!. I asked him how could he do this in front of me when he knew I loved him so much for all those years we were married.

I found out my husband of 10 years has been doing this since he was 14 and since he was 29 on the computer.

He swears that it has nothing to do with me and that he has always loved me. He told himself that what he was doing wasn't wrong because there was no touching.

We discussed cyber sex before we were married and agreed it was wrong and he still did it.

For those of you that have an addiction problem (and yes, the therapist he is seeing has confirmed that), did you stop loving your wife along the way? Did you ever love her? Do you still love her now?

I know it's all very personal but I'm trying to come to grips with this. He is terrified I'm going to leave and I'm terrified about staying.

I know that I didn't cause this and I can't control or cure it but I need to know if he is telling the truth about loving me the whole time....and since he's lied to me for 10 years, I'm just not at the point of believing him yet!!! LOL :)

Any thoughts would be appreciated!! :)
