I am in WI as well and why would the child support not go to the foster parents? You can just send the money to child support and if you pay all that is due, you will then be done!

In many states, the state government Department of Social Services has become the arbitor of Child Support. It would be best to contact your attorney and ask him what you need to do to rectify the situation so that you don't dig yourself into a hole.

If the kids are in foster care, do you have the ability to take custody? That would be the ideal solution. Get your poop in a group and become a real parent.

WHAT!!!! Please tell me that you are trying to get your kids back. Forget the money what about the children? Do you want them to grow up with no real family. I would rather you get the children and love them and try to get help from others than to be so worried about $3500.00. Do you know that you can get that much back in taxes if you claim you children maybe even more. Please don't be a father that does not care. But even if they are in DCFS custody you should still pay and not just $3500.00 more for the rest of their life with your soul. Please go to the site I listed to see if they can help you.

yes...you still owe it, when you pay the state will get the money to help pay for the children. as long as you still have an open support case and they show you still owe it....you pay it
