I am 25 married to a woman I find very attractive and love very much. we have sex once every 2 weeks if you average it out. I know she gets off on her own a lot more than we have sex because she has admitted it to me. I doesnt seem like she is attracted to me because she never says anything much at all. and it always seems like I am the one who initiates it , now if she fills something out online she says her favorite thing is sex and she loves it , blah blah blah , but once in 2 weeks does not seem like a favorite thing to me. Does anyone here share the SAME scenario as me?

Before you say anything let me give some details:

Together: 6 years - sex has always been like above.
Married: 9 months
Child: a 2 1/2 year old
I work full time
she is a housewife, but is not cleaning and working all day as some do.
I help with A LOT around the house. dishes, garbage , laundry about 50% of the time.
I always try to make her feel attrative and wanted
I Take her on dates

I have always taken care of others, raised my brother at sixteen when mom died, four years later at twenty had my first child and two more after that. Worked in the Hepling profession for ten years. Now all I want to do, is to buy a cabin in the woods and run away from everything and, everyone, am I selfish? I cant stop thinking about this.

My husband and I moved in together in 1997.
We were married in 2003, and separated in 2005.
In 1997 we moved into a house together with his name only on the deed.
We had a joint bank account in which we pooled our money. We mostly used his money to pay the bills and mine to pay for groceries and fun. We still have the joint account although he no longer contributes to it.
I don't want to take him for half the house, but I think I do deserve to leave the marriage with something. Is this possible?

Back on 8/10/06. I vented my frustration regarding my 7 year old step daughter, she was not home and foul language was used. My wife has sinced moved out and filed for an anullment, and cut off all communication with me. We met in 6/05 and married in 5/06. We both lived separatly and wanted to not play house for the good of the child. I was her 4th significant relationship in the childs seven years. First it was the babies dad, that ended, Second was a fiance that ended it, third was an old high school ex that cheated on her, and now me. Our relationship was great no fights and always a good time. Once we started living together we started to experience how to live with eachother, and communication started to be a problem, such as me shutting down (where i would get quiet and be by myself) and she hated this. I have sent a letter begging for her forgiveness from both her and my daughter. My life has changed both for the good and bad. Good in that i have learned bad as in i miss them.

II am a beautiful person inside and out. My husband does not communicate with me about anything, never takes me anywhere, and always puts me down. We have been together for 15 years. I cannot take it anymore. We never make love. He doesn't touch me at all. Everybody likes me because I am very friendly and out-going....except the person I have been with all those years. I fell like I have wasted all my time on the person that does not care. He works hard, pays the bills, cooks sometimes but it's like he's got a secret. Please give me some answers.

My ex was 10 years older than me. He used me as arm candy and I broke it off. This was @13 yrs ago. He made me feel like I was only a pretty face with nothing upstairs. I recently contacted him and he is married w/ kids and a stay home wife and works like 3 jobs to maintain his life. I am a professional and hold a title as exclusive as his. I told him what I do for a living and he wanted to meet me in NY for coffee. I just got a promotion and now hold a higher position than him and only work 1 job. Now he is being short and blowing me off. Why would he do that?

My husband of 6 years feels it ok for his sons to sit and eat cereal all day.He feels I don't have a right to say you can't eat cereal? They visit every weekend and it's like they don't eat at home because they eat from the time they get to our home to the time they leave. Sometimes they leave and I have to go back to the store. When I confront him about it I'am just strirring up stuff. It's like he doen't care if the childeren in our home can eat when they leave or not. What should I do???????????

First, a little background information: my boyfriend is 24, and I am 22. We have been friends for over 4 years, and have been dating exclusively for nine months. I know he'd like to be married at some point, I would like to get married (ideally) within the next 2 years or so.

A few nights ago, he said he felt it was very logical of him to love me (haha, I know, he's a bit silly thinking love is logical). Anyway, he reasoned, "...you're pretty, and smart, and you make me laugh and we fun together, and I know you'd be a good mother."

Now, even though he has been skittish to discuss marriage and the like, I have to wonder why on Earth me being "a good mother" would even have crossed his mind if he weren't starting to consider marrying me a serious possibility.

I'm not expecting a proposal within the next week, but what do you think? Does the "good mother" comment indicate that he is considering marriage within the near future?

Thank you to all who answer!!

My ex and I have been divorced for 2 years and my 5-year old daughter lives with me. We have joint custody, but I am the primary caregiver and decision maker. I want to move a few states away to be near my serious boyfriend (he is in the military). The problem is, my ex refuses to let me move with our daughter and will not compromise on visitation arrangements (he currently gets her every other weekend).

Has anyone had a similar situation? If I have to go to court, what are the chances that the judge will allow me to move with my daughter?

Im kind of curious as to how many woman are similar to my wife.

only to get divorced so easily?

This specific category of questions makes me wonder, WHY?

When you get married it is intended that you work through your problems, while not all problems can be worked through easily, most can.

What has happened to compromise?
Furthermore, where is our value of marriage?

and while we are having a discussion, I hear a woman walk by him and say,"You the man." He responds to her,"You the woman." Then he tried to lie and tell me that he said "you the woman" to me, when he clearly was speaking to the woman who walked by. What should I do? Legally married for 6 yrs, 1 child together.

Cheating""abadoning our child" He works mostly out of town and earns about80,000-100,000 a year and claiMS i DONT NEED TO WORK then he will get bitchy and go buy me the things I say I want a job for (like clothes, kids toys) and say I dont need a job, well the things is I WANT a job, I need to get out of the house and make my own money and he just doesnt see that, I dont work right now and I hate depending on him, I feel like a child, I have told him this and he says "whatever" he is 32 years old...since he works out of town alot, how do I get him to pay for daycare in the beginning at least, he refuses just so I cant work...HELP.

Is it primarily a discipline? A choice? An emotion? A committment?

Is there a difference between immature love and mature love? Is it love to feel an emotion we identify as love, even when we make hateful or self-seeking choices? Does love descend on us, and then leave? Do we control it? Is there an 'art' to loving?

What is love?

We've been married for a while and have a kid, but my husband is very abusive verbally. He doesn't think anything is wrong and when I suggest marital therapy, he says I'm the one that needs it, not him. He is always telling me I'd be nothing without him, I couldn't work if I wanted to (I worked at jobs and was a good employee for many years before we got married). I do everything for this guy and my son, and he even abuses our son, too. If it weren't for the fact he was the breadwinner, I'd have left a long time ago and taken out son with me (he asks me when are we gonna leave dad already?).

What to do?????

I'm a 20-something year old unhappily married mom of 3 great kids ages 5, 3, and 2.. Lately I've found myself bored with my eveyday life and feel like I need more. (More than just raising my children, taking care of an ungrateful spouse and busting my a$$ at work) The only satisfaction I have now is with my children and my job. Sometimes (today for example) I dont want to come home from work. I dont drink, so I dont go to bars or anything like that, I dont have any friends to hang out with because my life revolves solely around my family. It seems that the only time I have to myself is the 25 minute drive on my way to and from work, and the 30 minutes before going to bed at night and engaging in the same ol redundant routine ALL OVER AGAIN. It's so hard to talk to my 'husband' about it because he doesnt actively listen and it will just turn into an argument. I'm done arguing. Can anyone offer any USEFUL advice?
