been dating a great guy for 2 yrs and plan on getting married next yr.hes a divorced dad who is great with his kids never misses a school function allways pays his child support on time and goes out of his way to help his ex.the problem is he cheated on his wife 2x and left her for the second gf(was not me and did not last long)he said he was never happy in his marriage and his wife was awful to him and controlled his every move.i have met his wife more than once and everthing he said about her is true.i asked him if he was so unhappy why did he not just leave and he said its not that easy when you have kids.he said he wanted to do the right thing and try and make it work. i want to believe him as he really does love his children but i'm just afraid he will do the same thing to me.men can you answer this can a man be driven to cheat by a controlling wife?

My fiance and I will be getting married in a few months, but want a pagan wedding. It will be too cold to get married outside, so any ideals for an inside wedding? and someone to marry us. We are both pagans, so a traditional christian wedding is out of the question.

Suppose you fell in love with someone other than your husband / spouse of 15 years. You still love your husband, very much, you are just not "in" love with him; you are in love with this other person. The other is still in love with you, but chooses his wife. To top it all off, you have to think of the best situation for your children to grow up in. Suggestions? Cutting it off completely doesn't seem to be working. Counseling is helping, a little, but it is a long process, and the relationship has existed for almost a year.

He said it was not what he expected it to be. We've been married for 9 years together for 13. She came to work in my office and that's how I found out... she has a big mouth. I feel like I could die.

Divorce states "shared" custody with Dad having primary physical custody. (we agreed to let him have physical custody when we got divorced. And we also agreed that when the kids are over 12 they can decide where they want to be) We live 2,000 miles apart. My son WANTS to live with his Dad. But dad says he can't. (His current wife had a big say in this) Son has ADHD and behavior issues. Son was living with dad for most of the time since divorce 10 years ago. He has been with me for last year and a half. Dad wouldn't even take him for Summer break!
So here's the question--
Can I legally fly him out there and leave him on his dad's doorstep?? Would I get into trouble?
I personally think this 14 y/o needs his Dad and his older sister that lives with Dad. Can Dad just say "Nope you burned your bridges- YOu can't live with us" -Even though he is SUPPOSED to have physical custody.. Does Physical custody change since he has has physically been in my care for the last 1.5 years?

Based on the great number of "who do I choose" questions I am curious. Fess up...no one knows who you are just say "I do" (obviously if you don't don't answer).

Can someone please tell me if it's possible for me to get the paperwork divorce lawyers file on behalf of their clients from a court house? I intend to do the paperwork myself and take it to the courthouse, pay the filing fee and any other fee that may come about. i don't believe in lawyers and I know I can do this myself

I'm just so in love with my sweet husband today. I'd love to hear what makes others' relationships fulfilling. What character traits are endearing to you? What gets you through the bad times? Why have you stayed together?
Thanks!

In general, once two people get married are they responsible for the debts that each bring into the marriage, or only the debts they incur after they are married? For example, if I marry someone with $5000 in debt, and she suddenly passes away, am I responsible for the debt? Morbid example, but you get the idea.

Similarly, I've heard that all income earned by a married person is considered a joint marital asset, EXCEPT money that is inherited from a relative's estate. True?

I just found out from a very reliable sorce that my husband is into drugs. He has always promised me he would never do drugs. This really bothers me that he is now keeping stuff from me. And our first baby is on the way. I am so upset. Should I confront him?? I am afraid he will just get mad at me and lie about it. What should I do :(

Over the weekend we saw this cute movie at a place that sells new and used dvd's called "the lion king". The cover had a big lion on it and then they had this little baby lion being held up by a monkey in the sunlight. It looked so cute!! Then it had this scary lion on there but it looked so neat with all these animals in it. I asked my husband if Jessica and I could watch it but he said that we couldn't because it had these bad subliminal messages in it and he thought it would be too scary in some parts for us. I asked him if we could get it and then maybe he could record over the bad parts like some of our other movies but he said he couldn't do that on a dvd at home. I then asked if he would watch it with us and then tell us to close our eyes and cover our ears at the bad parts and he said he would think about it. What can I do to make him really happy so he will say yes? I need to also find a way to ask him without sounding bothersome. Any ideas?
