How can I stop thinking about the mundane and irrelevent things?

in my relationship??? If I do ignore certain things he automatically accuses me of cheating, I need to learn to NOT engage in his child like bickering or fights, its almost like he wants to argue...why are some people like this...how do you avoid it?

Then armed with this information...that this is ongoing...that it occurs more than frequently and that you are accused of being unfaithful as well as dragged into arguments for no reason I've come to the conclusion you are involved with a little boy and not a man.
He clearly has no respect for you, your opinions, your feelings or even the pleasure of your company. Weere I you..and I'm not....I would begin to look into avenues to leave this man-child and find yourself a man who cares about these things I mentioned. Do yourself that favor. I think you'll be pleased in the longrun.

More than likely, he is cheating and is dverting the attention from his own wrong doing blaming it on you.

If you are fed up, then tell him that it's over and that he has to find someone else to put up with his corrisoive, manipulative behaviour.

You have to be hooked up on love, not on drama.
