The lies, the fact that someone I trusted didn't think they could or wanted to do the work needed to build a great marriage.
I'd say it's either the lies or the death of the your dream of who your spouse was, or the hope that your marriage would get better.
I was angry at myself for my mistakes, and angry at her for her lies, deception and manipulation.
The blame-shifting angers me too.
Sorry, I couldn't nail it down to just one ;)

The lies about it. People make mistakes, like affairs. But lying about it is like saying, oh you're to dumb to figure out the truth !

The lies.
If they were at least good lies I wouldn't of found out and felt betrayed and hurt.
If you are going to lie, commit yourself to the lie and be good at it.
It the halfass lies that make people thing "How stupid do you think I am?"

I would have to say the lies...
but with my partner having an affair is not an issue we are very honest and open with our relationship about 2 years ago we entered in to a swinger lifestyle.(my idea..I am the wife)
some times people cheat because they don't have open communications with their partners about their wants, needs and fantasy.
most affairs are just about sex. one can have sex with no emotional ties.. sex and love are 2 different things...
but when one lies about it the trust is gone and a relationship is nothing with out trust.

Well i would say both of them.Having someone you love and supposed to trust to betray you that way.than they dont have the desency to tell you the truth something i think a person always deserves.

seeings I have been in this kinda situation before,Angry????..BOTH.they are both deceitful,and hurtful.My husband had an a 2 time fling,and never confessed to it for over a year,What made me angry was he had alotta nerve to be able to look at me for a year knowing what he had done.Makes ya sick...

I would say that both really hurt,it did me anyways.But the lies is really hard to deal with.I dont really want to explain what happened.
