I have noticed so many women who's husbands left them and their children to be with another women? Why? I can understand divorcing your wife if she cheated, but if she never did and is a good person in general, why leave?

I've found tons of "step family" oriented messages boards, but I'm looking for a message board for custodial mothers to discuss issues regarding their ex-husbands, his new wife, and also how to deal with a new husband, step father, for their own children.

Anybody know of a good one?

I know why a woman would leave a man, usually due to feeling unfullfilled and lonely, but why would a man divorce his wife?
I have always wondered this, I can't help but think, wow, after sharing so much of personal history and secret personal things that could be almost embarrising if someone knew, why leave?

My wife told me she was leaving me 6 weeks ago. She is still living in the house and says she can not afford to leave yet. She conciders us seperated. We have a 3 year old. I am trying to save the marriage. I am going to a marriage therapist. She refuses to go. She has told me she is heavly leaning twoard devorce. I think we could have a great marriage again if we work at it together.

Is it wrong of her to stay at the house if she told me she is leaving? She has family in the area that she could go to. I don't want us to seperate or divorce. I do not understand why she will not try therapy. Her family even supports us trying therapy.

I been married a few months and I'm trying to get past being so far away from home, dealing with his demanding job(i spend alot of time alone), feeling like I'm being underestimated on my abilities to handle things by his family (I had to grow up very early and them doing that really startin to get under my skin because no one has ever done that to me..i've a very capable person), dealin with issues that he has at work and stuff.... I totally understand his job but I really feel like his job has taken over and I am stuck tending to all the business crap and I really don't want to do it all. On top of it all it's like he doesn't get me anymore. Do all marriages start off this hard? I didn't expect it to be easy but this isn't just hard it's near back breaking. How do I go about handling all these issues when sittin and talkin about them so much has me to the point I just want to explode?

i received a letter from my sons fathers new wife, she is pregnant now. this is the statement i'm not sure would be considered abuse; "He wants this baby, say when he found out you were preg.he didnt want that. He never wanted a baby with you but had to deal with it the best he know how."

I think my wife is a lesbian. We haven't really kissed since our
wedding just over four years ago. She insisted on not having sex
before we were married. I guess her test to see if I might be gay..making her life of deception easier. Well I'm not! Sex is infrequent (once every three to four
months. Those times she insists on having NO foreplay. Just wham
bam...you know the rest. Recently I found a list of lesbian porno
titles she had written down to order. I confronted her once about
this a few months ago. She whipped up a few crocodile tears, but the
general pattern of behavior has persisted. No sex. Never any cuddling. Never any kissing. Is she gay? She will
never admit it. I am thinking about divorce.
I feel duped into her marriage of convenice, to the world she projects as a dutiful wife, but the reality is as I have described.

I have been with my husband for 5 years now - married 1 1/2 years. I have felt since our second month of marriage that I made a mistake of marrying him. Before we got married I broke up with him for 3 months until I couldnt take his crying any more - felt very bad - and got back with him and married in less than a month. Now I really want to leave him. But am conflicted due to his response before about how he will be if I divorce him. No I have not met anyone else and he has no kids I have three and recently he wanted me to pick him over my oldest daughter. What should I do?

When he does something I don't like, I tell him. But after I tell him, he keeps doing it until i get ready to explode. I have yelled and jumped up and down before. Now I just leave the room. What can I go to get him to respect me when I ask him not to do something?

I posted a question a few days ago about struggling w/ feelings for another man. This man makes me feel smart, appreciated, beautiful, and just makes me full of energy. I've never been unfaithful to my husband, but I'm struggling w/ my feelings- I don't want to have feelings for someone else, but my husband is pretty inattentive and selfish. He's not very affectionate, his needs always come first (in many ways), and there are days where I'm just beyond fed up. The most frustrating is that he worries more about himself than me or, more importantly, our daughter. Things are always done on his terms- if he doesn't want to do something, it doesn't get done. When it comes to sex, he's extremely selfish. In the almost 3 years we've been married I've never climaxed during sex because he can't stop worrying about how he feels long enough to see if I'm enjoying myself. I want to work on things- but I don't know where to start. I'd like to get some serious, mature answers from you all. Thanks.

I'd like to marry my boyfriend, but I feel that we are very good friends and enjoy many of the same things, but I dont feel like we lust after each other all the time like in the movies. We have good sex when we have it but it's not all the time, maybe once or twice a week . . . is this not enough? Or is this a good thing? I find him attractive and he finds me attractive we just aren't going at it all the time. People are always shocked when I say that we dont have sex everynight. Are we suppossed to be tearing each others clothes off? We make each other laugh and hang out . . . is this a good foundation for marriage? or are we going to someday want some big lustful relationship???
