My husband and my self went our seperate ways two years ago and have not spoken or seen each other since we have no children and no properties left to fight over so what is the easiest way to get a divorce without knowing where he is?

You can get a divorce without him! Contact a lawyer..most states only require that you publish a notice of your intent in the local papers and the last known area he was in...you have to publish it 3 times..then the court can procede with your case. Since you didnt have children together and you have no property involved, your divorce should be simple and quick. You can actually file the divorce yourself, if money is an issue.

you get a divorce lawyer and he'll let you know what to do .... more than a decade ago a friend of mine went through the same thing --- I know they ran an ad in the newspapers for 30/60 days --- after no response they went ahead with the divorce --(I think it was based upon abandonment)....

You can put an add in the newspaper and wait like 90 days then get one under default. Thats how you can do it in my state anyway.

You limit the amout of answers you receive when you don't list the state you live in.

call social security office they can send him a letter in your hehalf and with that proof if he doese not respond you can get him on abandonment and will be granted a devorce in any court but mabie social security will find him and he will respond they will help you good luck
