I was.....until i met my future husband. We knew the first week that we were destined to be together and we tried not to cross that line but ....well you know the rest.

No, but I was very clear that I wanted to wait until I was in a loving healthy relationship, and I did. I was 18 1/2 and out of HS and it was wonderful. We're now engaged and I can't imagine not being able to share that with him for...7 or 8 years. I suppose because I do not believe sex is for a heterosexual married couple only, I don't understand why you would wait until marriage. Marriage is an incredible commitment but there are other commitments that are also important and valid! Also, given all the posts I see on this website and on forums posted by girls who are scared out of their whits about their first time...I'm leaning towards the idea that having sex BEFORE you get married is healthier.

I didn't...and I'm glad that I didn't. I mean, would you buy a car without test driving it? Would you allow someone to watch your children without checking thier references? Would you purchase a house without having a final walk-through? In my opnion, sex is an important part of marriage, and if two people wait until they are married to find out if they are sexually compatible, it can be devestating for the marriage...that's just my opinion.

I am a guy. The best thing that my wife had given me was her virginity after our wedding!...Nothing beats it!
