What I mean is....can one be driven to cheat?

2006-10-02 15:47:59 · 21 answers · asked by Ms. GTO 7

i have never been married and i am just 19 but because my parents are separated, and my father has other children i began to hate the idea of marriage, almost all my uncle and aunt are separated, they hate their marriage and they are not happy being married, they are not even happy and contented with their children, like i thought all parents would have considered their children as a blessing but for their case they dont.
i dont want to get married or have a boyfriend because i know they will hurt me too like what my father did to my mother, and vice versa, i am sick of people getting married, saying their i do's and promising to one another but they dont really do it, like celebrities. i dont like to do it, what would you tell me to change my opinion am i wrong to feel this way?

My husband came on and surprised me tonight with flowers. I had been so down because I thought he was mad at me but he said he was just having a bad day. He said I was a "good little girl" this morning and said he was giving me 2 "good girl points". I know that might sound weird but he has a system for me where I earn "good girl points" for doing things like having sex with him without questioning him or giving him a massage when he didn't ask me to or automatically cleaning up after him..things like that. He said I am up to 75 points now and he said I could "cash them in" for him to take me to the beach or I could wait til I get to 120 and he would take me on a cruise!!! I don't know what to do, i'm so happy. It might take me a few more months to earn those points and also I can get points deducted for being a bad girl, so I'm not sure what to choose. I know I would really like to go to the beach now but I have never been on a cruise. What should I do?

Hi all,

I'm 28 and marrying my longterm boyfriend who is 35. Right now obviously the age difference doesn't pose any kind of problem because we're both young adults and in the same life stage, blah blah.

But can I expect any problems later on? Say, when I'm 45 and he's 52? Or when I'm 60 and he's 67?

Do you think the age difference will ever be a big problem when we're older, since he's going to age quicker than me?

My fiance is an illegal alien and we live in Florida and want to apply for the marriage liscence, however the clerk of court tells me that he must have a ssn or a green card,,, what do i do now. He has neither. Does anybody know of a county in florida that we can get the liscence. I really love this guy and we are not getting married to get him legal. We are getting married because we want to be with each other.

I have posted several questions about our open lifestyle and open sex life. I am not interested in hearing from those that do not aprove but would love to hear from those that have tried or want to try, exhibitionism, threesomes, planned meetings etc

My Boyfriend and I have been together for 6 months. He is 18 and I am 17. We only knew each other for a month before we started dating. We are both in our senior year of high school, and would not get engaged until at least the summer before college.
We have discussed it before on many occassions and I am just wondering, would you say we were too young? I have no doubts whatsoever about spending the rest of my life with him, and neither does he. What we are worried about is the reaction of our (mostly his) parents.
If anyone has been in this situation before, did it end happily?
I am really just looking to see if the majority of you out there think that we are too young.
Thanks for your input! I appreciate you taking your time to help.

My husband has gone for four years paying about 3/4 the amount you can request for child support. Now the mother of his child (he has no custody and now that we are married) is asking for the full amount of money. Can she fully get that if it is literally impossible for my husband and I to make a living giving that much money per month? He already gives $800/mos in child support etc... and it would be much greater if she asks for more. His situation has changed with a new apartment, new job, a wife (who is going to school full time and not working) and we just simply can't afford that. Can she really get that money or can that be fought?

It is not that he minds paying the money for his child, but at the same time he does have the right to be able to live a stable life - pay his bills, put food on the table, etc... I don't work because my Masters program for this particular year will not allow it (I'm student teaching).

My husband and I have a very healthy sex life, however I love to have sex with him on a momentarly basis. He thinks that I should make the first move. For example if he knows I want him he wont come after me, he'll expect for me to come after him. Is this normal? Should I feel like I need to make the first move always and will I look like a NINFO if I do"?

I'm seeing a married man, he doesn't love his wife, she doesn't clean, cook or even support him. He loves me. His wife found out about us talking on the phone alot. We talk when he is at work, on his cell phone. She had the nerve to call me up and tell me not to call her husband, of course I denied ever talking to him. She told her husband that she didn't believe nothing was going on, because I lied to her. He told her that we work together and I help with his job. Then he suggested they go to see a therapist, because he was doing nothing wrong and she needed to stop accusing him of cheating!! Do you believe the stupid ***** believed him??

After three months of maternity leave, an awful financial situation, his infidelity and my constant threats of putting him out of my house, my babys father and I split up. Now I want him back. I wrote him a four page letter telling him all the things that I would be willing to change, but he has no interest in reconciling. Instead he says mean and hurtful things to me, and shows no interest in seeing his son. He's dropped off money in the mailbox once since I put him out, but says he will never set foot in my house again. How can I get him to get past the anger and just talk to me? I've done the legal thing as far as support, but the system is a joke. They told me it would take up to six months to get the support going.

I just went through a bad divorce. The other day I discovered about 5000 pictures of her on the computer that we had taken with our digital camera. The question is. . . . .

1. Do I post them on the internet? (I really want to)
2. If I do is there any legal action that she can take? (What are the consiquences)

Granted I was once nice looking- men used to walk into walls staring-- it was great, but now I am 30, heavy, and working a tough job. I lost 40 + pounds recently and men and women have started paying attention to me (for different reasons). Problem is, while I am getting interested looks from men, and asked out often, I haven't been asked by a man that feels right-that is my age and seems whole, like a potential boyfriend. I am startin to feel old and washed up. I am wondering if I can ever have real love again. Not a one night stand or vacation for a weak married man- but something real. Do you men think its possible for a 30+ woman-- or am I at the end of the road?

All my freinds and family think I am funny and interesting. My husband used to. We have been together 3 years now. About a year ago he just lost interest in talking to me. Now, when I say something that I know is halarious, all I get is a "hmph." He loves talking to his guy freinds, though, and can spend hours talking to them. But one reason we fell in love was because we share so many interests and he loves how goofy and tomboyish I am and how I am not afraid to say whatever is on my mind. Lately, I have really tried to get across to him that I miss being his best freind... to no avail. What should I do?

we've been married for 4 years now. We are young so I feel really weird since we haven't been intimate for over 1 year. We don't have any kids. I totally lost interest in my husband. Any suggestions? He says he doesn't want divorce because then we have to split everything we have now.

my husband works with mostly women, some single, some not! Now there have been at least 3 times that he's gone out after work to bars, with his co-workers (he says including guys) and not invited me! We also have a 1 yr old boy and we dont' get out much TOGETHER as it is. we havent' been getting along well b/c of all this and other things, i told him i was upset b/c he doesn't include me in the fun, so one time he TELLS me, "i'm going out after work with everyone to get away from you", as if that's not mean enough he goes to a place that he and i BOTH have gift cards for and he takes MY gift card to go have fun with it, then he calls me to tell me how much fun he's having then last friday i called him from work to see if he wanted to meet for lunch, KNOWING we were goin to be in the same area, he told me no b/c he already had plans to go to lunch with his GIRL co-wkrs! why wouldn't he invite me!? i never met anyone he works with b/c he doesn't invite me to things like that! WHY
