My 16 year old big brother never leaves the computer. He keeps deleting stuff and says he's cleaning the computer! He's DUMB! He never lets me go on the computer/ browse on the net. He does work on it sometimes, but that doesn't actually matter to me; he feels sort of uneasy when I am on the computer. My Mum tells him off to give me....! He thinks I look at nasty things, but I don't! I'm good! You know what.....when he's not on the PC he is just so good and kind, and so generous. It spoils him and his eyesight. He sits on it for more than 2 hours. He's got glasses since he was 8. He still has. His sight didn't get better.....it got worse! Please tell me how to make him not interested in computer! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!

My partner has custody of his daughter who has lived with us now for 3 years. She is allowed to see her mother every other weekend and half of all school holidays. My partner and I have another child together and we are all a happy family. My question is.... Is it possible for me to be granted parental responsibility of his daughter as she lives with me and i make joint and important decisions about her life. I know her biological mother would contest any applications so I just wonder what to do. I want to gain parental responsibility for this child if humanly possible and don't mind a fight! The child in question is 8 years old. Also if anyone knows what it'd cost too (As we'd have to pay!!)

My mom won't let me have a myspace and i want one bad! All my friends have 1 and I told her i would put it on private but she won't let me have one since everything that has been happening....but I'm not a baby and I know not to talk 2 any strangers! What should I say to persuade her 2 get a myspace?

I am so bored I can pull my hair out!! I just moved to Natchez, Mississippi and it is a small town and I moved from New Orleans to Natchez because my dad found a restaurant for sale and it is BEAUTIFUL! But it is sooooooooo boring here. There is nowhere to go and you have to go out of town to go somewhere. My friends are ALWAYS "busy." I am just so sick of my boring, lame life. I just am. I have been on spring break for about a week now and have done NOTHING! Because my mom's car is acting up and my mom has to help out at the restaurant becuase we just opened up for lunch and we only usually open for dinner. Please tell me what I should do. No rude answers please.

would i not be throwing away my time and effort i have spent bringing up his child.. ok so guess what i lied to my bf and told him i was going shopping for his birthday(in june) just so i can shopp with my mum tomoz lol i know this is ridiculous but harder to do than say... he always ask me if he can go out .. im like why are u asking me ... im no super model just normal looking person... but im going to say to him tonight i want to stay at my mums for a day or 2 ..time apart is as precious as time together do u agree?

How do you keep from getting lonely? My husband sleeps till nine in the morning, goes to work at ten, and comes home at about 9:30 at night. We have a good relationship, I just hardly see him. I am a stay at home mom, because we are actually saving money by me not working. Daycare is expensive, and we have five kids between us.We rarely get to go on dates because there is no one willing to watch five kids at once, so we have to find several babysitters, and make sure they are all available every time we go out.Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom, my kids and I have a blast together, but sometimes I just get so lonely without anyone to talk to but my kids all day. I have sort of resorted to corresponding with people on here ( I don't like chat rooms) , to get some kind of adult interaction. But I've found that usually people on here don't want to interact beyond the questions and answers. I know this probably sounds like "Poor me" , but it's not. (running out of room....)

she always says retarded and i get mad when she says that. she is like prejudice or discriminating people who really are mentally challenged. she is 15 and has LOTS of moods swings so she will not talk to me alone. whenever i tell her to stop saying that she says, i can say whatever i very well please. i feel like crying when she says that word and want to punch her in the face. how do i get her to stop saying retard

b4 we meet i liked going out , quite often single no ties just work, i took on his kid from birth, as the mother didnt bother, but now i feel like im just a boring parent doing the same things day in day out with nothing to show for it i gave up my work so i could care for the kid now im bored .. i love them both but hey im 19 not 61 if i asked my bf to go out he say nto without me .. please help i just need someone to talk to

I have two step children. My husband and I got custody of the younger one about seven years ago when he was eleven. Their mother is a partier and encourages them to be just like her. They are grown now but the younger one is still in school. He still lives with us and doesnt help out at all with cleaning or food. We provide everything for him. I also have my daughter living with me who is grown but is going through a divorce and custody battle with her ex. She cant help out much because her ex doesnt pay much support and she has three very young kids. We help her because she needs it but I dont feel that his kids need as much help. They both work and have no kids yet they both constantly have their hands out wanting more and more and when I say anything to my husband he always says well were helping your daughter. He gives them whatever they ask for and he does it behind my back. He has told me to throw my daughter and her kids out but his son has everything he could want.

Now I cant see the baby or even talk to my brother, we never did anything to her, in fact I threw the baby shower.. she said she didnt want us at the weeding, we didnt even know they got married so I said some real bad things to her.. well they were true. I basicly said she wanted him all to her self and that she was putting a strain on our family.. I dont know what to do.. I have always been really close to my brother and this is his first child and I have seen her once .. we live in the same city!! She is not a nice person..

I have a feeling that my parents have ocd or might just be weird, I'll tell you what they act like and you tell me if they have some sort of disorder....

My DAD:He is afraid of people scraching his car and other things like our dining room table
He ONLY buys things that are on sale/that are an extremely good deal
He is an "ebay-oholic"

My MOM-
She is always worried about me (I'm her son) getting hurt
She always repeats everything ans she sounds like a broken record.
She makes everything such a big deal
For example: If we went away skiing for the weekend, she would go around telling all of her, and my friends about what an awsome time we had.

The reason I think shes acting life that is that my dad is so ovsessed about getting a good deal, that it is so uncommon to take a vacation and thats whay shes making a big deal over it.


Just give me ur opinion

Ps. its driving me crazy since im almost the complete ofosite of them!!!!

Lately my mom's self esteem has been low lately. She thinks she's ugly and fat(which she's not she's beautiful and average, not fat). So when people take a picture of my neice, and she's in the picture, she always crops them out. It's annoying and unfair to my neice.

She believes she looks so horrible she shouldn't be out in public. She complains about how ugly my legs look and how fat I am(I'm only 118ibs and 5'6).

So suggestions?

Background: both our families live in the same town where we grew up. We now live 3 hours away, in a different state. My family is loud and quite different than his. In addition, I have a sister who is "married" to a woman and the two have a child together. Strange, perhaps, but all families are!

Problem: My mother-in-law has told my husband that she will not come to my son's birthday party (3 years old) if my sister and the baby are going to be there. We are willing to have the party anywhere--my family's house, his family's house, a neutral place, but it does not matter to her. (Might be important: she's not an "old" mom, she's only in her 50's!)

Husband wants me to plan and implement two separate parties (from 3 hours away). I say, she should attend the party I plan for both families, as this is her ONLY grandchild. (I won't even go into the glass house hypocracy that she is taking part in here!) I do NOT want to change her beliefs, but I do think they could be put asside

Ok I have a 9-year-old brother and a 5-year-old sister, and they HATE each other. My sister ('Elly') and my brother ('Reilly') fight 24/7/365!!! They fight over the SMALLEST LITTLE THINGS and I need peace, when I come home to visit from college it is CHAOS!!!

I am a guest at cusin's house and I tried to make the family food. I messed up big time. I should've made a food that I already know how to make, instead I made a food reading by description in the food book.

How embrassing, I burnt the food. Now, my cusin is making another food. Should I just go downstairs with the family??? because I know their going to make funny jokes about me.

okay i'm nineteen now. and i've been having a lot of problems with my father. i'm not going to go into details about that, but can assure you it's serious (my half-sister ran away from home, my half-brother got kicked out of his house, my real brother hates him).

so the thing is. i can move out and stay with a friend who lives quite far away. but do you think this is a good idea? i'm a bit worried, because im not financially strong, but i feel its better to get away from him, because he really is holding me down in ever way conceivable. any advice appreciated.
