I am so sorry for your lost I too have had dreams about family members that have passed on . It could be like some of the other posters said : You really miss her , It was a loving hug from your aunt which I am sure you to loved each other .
I feel the dream symbolizes that she will always be there to watch over you .

Dreams are the mind's way of giving the body what the soul cannot give. You miss your aunt, but you try to suppress it, this causes it to slip into your subconscious. You are now deprived of that love and affection you either had, wanted or still want. Your mind could probably be under lots of stress if these needs aren't met, so, as a protective mechanism, the mind gives you that realistic hug to keep you from anxiety, stress or any other negative mental effect. So, basically your dream means that you still want her affection and as long as you keep her in your heart, she will always be there.

She is letting you know that she loves you and she is watching over you, I had the same exact dream of my uncle hugging me and telling me he'll always love me and watch over me every single day.

i had the same exact dream.my aunt hugged me and it seemed so real.i like to think she was letting me know she was alright and that she loved me.
