I have a feeling that my parents have ocd or might just be weird, I'll tell you what they act like and you tell me if they have some sort of disorder....
My DAD:He is afraid of people scraching his car and other things like our dining room table
He ONLY buys things that are on sale/that are an extremely good deal
He is an "ebay-oholic"
My MOM-
She is always worried about me (I'm her son) getting hurt
She always repeats everything ans she sounds like a broken record.
She makes everything such a big deal
For example: If we went away skiing for the weekend, she would go around telling all of her, and my friends about what an awsome time we had.
^^^
The reason I think shes acting life that is that my dad is so ovsessed about getting a good deal, that it is so uncommon to take a vacation and thats whay shes making a big deal over it.
Just give me ur opinion
Ps. its driving me crazy since im almost the complete ofosite of them!!!!

My mom is alot like both of your parents.. The thing is it is a parents nature to worry. I am a parent and I worry over everything. And sometime you feel the need to repeat yourself to try and get through what you are trying to say. As far as your dad.. Who does want to get a good deal??? As much as cars cost I do not want somebody scratching my car. It sounds like your dad just wants to keep things looking nice. There is nothing wrong with that. After all I am sure they work hard for what they have and they want to take care of it.

You are going over board here a bit, OCD is a serious mental illness, and I don't see either of your parents suffering from it. Your mother sounds pretty much like a normal mom when it comes to her darling kid, and she sounds grateful that she got to go on a vacation! Your dad on the other hand sounds proud, and want to keep what he has nice. Sounds like he also has worked hard in his life, and likes to find good deals for his hard earned buck!! They are just old fashion silly!!!

Your dad sounds like he's a bit tight with money. Your mom sounds like she doesn't get out much and needs to spread the word when she does! I have to laugh at you though when you say you're the complete opposite. Do you like having your stuff scratched or ruined? LOL. I know what you mean though. They sound annoying, but they love you and that's why.

They are parents genius, most of them act like that. I wouldnt want people scratching my car, and mostly buy things only if theyre on sale, not because I have O.C.D., but because I want to save money. Your mom worries about you because she gave birth to you. Since when is repeating things a symptom of O.C.D. anyways?
