Everytime I try to talk to my parents about moving out, they come up with all these reasons why I shouldnt, or cant. My mom says I dont make enough money, but I make $1100 a month, and I wont have to pay rent when I move in with my boyfriend. Another thing they havent brought up yet, but I know they will, is that Im buying their car from them. I already drive it, and Im supposed to pay them $125 a month for a year, and Ive only made one payment. They probably wont let me move out without paying TOTAL for the car. I really need to move out because my boyfriend has been keeping my dog that my parents wouldnt let me keep at their house, and he said that if I cant move out soon, he's going to give the dog away, because its tearing up his house. I need help!

What the heck doe's this term mean? Have grandparents actually any legal rights If I don't want my kids to see thier Gran any more, could she try court action? Thats hypothetical by the way, my kids like thier Gran so I'm stuck with the old biddy.

i was sexually abused by my stepdad between the age of 3/4 and 9 my parents split up just after my mum realised something was going on but she never reported it i am now 37 with 4 kids of my own and i made contact with this man a few months ago i wanted to ask him why but couldnt find the courage though i dont know why as he is living in new zealand for last 15 year anywa yesterday i had a row with my sister as she is going to live with him in september with my 2 nieces and even though she knows what he did she is still going ahead with the move anyway she told me that i was a liar and should of would something about it years ago if it was true,so today i e-mailed him and told him i remember everything, what i have gone through over the years because of him and how much i hate him but now i feel as though i have done wrong by sending this e-mail (he is remarried and has step grandchildren and i dont' think he would of told his wife) i felt so much relief while writing the email

what do you do when your dad's birthday is coming up in 16 days and you can't even see him b/c he is away and wont be back til a week after his birthday?

my dad is a truck driver and often has to go on the road so we don't see him all that often. when he has to go really close to his birthday we have it the day before he leaves.

my dad won't be back and he left yesterday. we didn't get to throw a party for him b/c we couldn't afford it at the time. now i feel terrible. what do I do?

I'm hispanic but i'm first generation american so i still practice and live in my parents culture. However there is this guy at work, his mom was already born in usa and his father too so he doesn't even have an accent... and he was going through radio stations, found a mexican music one and made fun of it( "you guys want this one? he he he he he")...thenchanged it to an american rock station. I see nothing funny in that.

My sister married a white man too, and they have a baby. I fear that he may grow up to think we mexicans are low lives.

Me and my husband were at a meeting where his family also attended.. What makes me so upset with them, is that they are always begging for money from my husband. (Especially his nieces and nephew). In my opinion, its's gotten worse since me and him married. Well anways, at the meeting his niece asked him for some money, he gave her 5.00 and at the time I didn't know all he had on him was 10.00 so after the meeting, I told him I was hungry and could he buy me a sandwich. That's when he told me he had to give the other 5.00 towards a contribution at the meeting place. I was pissed. Why would he give his niece his last money. He then goes on to say that if he knew I would be hungry he would have asked her for the money back. He knows that would be ridiculous.. he was just saying that to appease me. Was I wrong to be a little upset?

I've used an awful lot of scare tactics. This biggest one yet...

My grandmother (her mother died) of Alzheimer's and had really bad cataracts. These have both been linked (somehow, it's just the tactic I use) to smoking.

I've blamed my mother for my asthma and allergies, since I grew up in a smoke filled house. Every time I go to visit my mom, even though she keeps her smoking to her bedroom and bathroom, I still get sick.

My husband and I have recently decided to try to start a family. I don't want to expose my kid to cigarette smoke. I don't want to deny access to the child, but I hate the idea of visiting my folks and exposing the child to the smoke.

My dad's also smoke pipe tobacco. He should be easier to convince to stop than my mom.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

I know there are others concerned like myself.

I have been trying to find a job on and off for the last couple of years without much success as well as trying to hustle by walking dogs, cleaning apartments, etc. My family who has been worried that they would have to give my mom and I some money are now doing that and are angry as a result. When I tried to tell them that the job market is tight and I have been trying to find a job, they treat me as a liar. The last time that I was unemployed, they pressured me into finding a job, which I did , and was so angry at them that I took it out on employees at the job and was subsequently fired. I now have an injury to my leg in which I can't put it down completely and I wonder should I try to go on job interviews and I've no health insurance. I am in my mid 30's and I am tired of being treated like a baby or having to account for every job move to the family? I am feeling more suicidal by the day and I don't want to go to another job and going off and getting fired again. Help!!!!!

my dad has always been a bas***d i was beaten by him alot growing up he has a terminal illness and this has always been his excuse last year he said he was depressed and started taken heroin he got clean and i for gave for the sake of my mum this was befor xmas 2005 he the done it agian a few weeks after my wedding in april he stole the money that was ment to be for a presant for me and spent it on heroin i never forgave him and havent spoke to him since i have my own family to think about including my 2 sons but my mum is giving me hassle about forgiving him what do you think??
