Your attitude is one that I hope you won't pass on to your precious children.
You too, will be an old biddy one day.
Yes Grandparents do have rights and can pursue them in court if necessary.
Your children apparently see a lot clearer through their loving eyes, the love of the grandparent.
There is positive and negative things about everyone. Can you not find more positive things to focus on where they are concerned so that your attitude might change and happy memories be created.
There are so many problems in this world without these kind. Please choose to be the one to change your little part of the world and raise a happy loving family, Grandparents included.
Good luck to all of you and God be with you all~~~~~Jill

I do believe that grandparents have some rights, but there would have be very important reasons for action to be taken.I guess you could try to make a certain time weekly or monthly for your kids to see their grandparents. But remember they are your kids and you make the decision.I hope everything works out for you.

Grandparents do have rights to see their grandchildren. They may go to court and request to have certain vistitations set for them to see their grandchildren. Also, if they feel that the child is improperly placed, they can even fight for full custody.

I'm not sure, but I think it depends on the state where you and she live. I think it's a load of crock, too, my kid has a couple of grandparents who should never be around children.

that depends on the state you live in. in missouri, you can stop your own parents from seeing your children. the father can stop his own parents from seeing the children. but you can't stop his parents and he can't stop yours.
