My brothers were there and his brother was there. And it got pretty heated between my brothers and my husband and his brothers. Anyway since then we all cooled off but for some reason his brother who lives whith us refuses to talk to me even though the fight had nothing to do with him. My husband told me to give it some time and hell cool off. I tried to be patient for a whole weelk but i could stand cooking cleaning and doing his laundry this whole and he never even says hi. My husband found out yesterday that i stoped doing his laundry and now my husband is mad at me. Im so upset because as if hes taking his side. He told me to be patient with him but when i take a stand for my dignity he gets mad. HELP!!!!

To my single parent "daughter" whom father gives her biger gifts than I can. I can't teacher or advise her because I am not her "father" says my wife. (it been like this since she was age 7) When she visit from out a state, I am uncomfortable, I can ask about her life. When she calls, we talk about the "grand baby" or the rest of the family or about work. She is private about her life. She says she love me, but I feel I am not doing all that I can do to help her. Her ex-boyfriend runup all her credit cards and don't pay child support because he don't work He went to jail for drugs. If I try to talk to her, both mother and daughter gets upset with me. I don't know if her father talk with her or cares. I don't feel I should be the one to call him. I don't know what my wife says to her.
WHAT CAN I DO and WHAT SHOULD NOT DO? pls help.

I'm trying to find my biological parents. I am adopted. I really really really wanna find them. I don't know their names though...I've tried to find them before..I do know my mom's name is "Kathleen" but I don't know her last name so it's kind of hard to find her.

hi im have a qwestin cuz my brotherhas his freinds overand there kissing and stuff in the living room and my parents arnt home even and im 9 and they are 15 and he is having a party and some ple are kissing and stuff and its soooo loud the nebors are complning and stuff and im in my brothers room and my brothers best freind is coming in 1 hr after he gets done with his practice and his girl freind is here and shes kissing some one else should i tell him or not? thats one qwestin and the other is there are some of my cosions freinds here cuz he lives here to and they are 18 and one of them broght beer!and my brother or his freinds arnt drinking it but my cosions freinds are and my cosions not but should i tell on them my parents are out of town on a busnes trip for work and my aunt is in charge but she is at work tonight she had to go in till 7 in the morning and my cosion whos 18 is watching me till she gets home and ya should i tell cuz they have beer? idnt want to make him mad?help!

Hi. I live in Henderson ville TN. My parents are from WI. and they are Visiting. My family owns a restaurant, and I do not no what or were to take them I have a lot money and I do not expect them to pay for anything. they will get here Saturday late afternoon and Leave Monday morning when I leave for work. I am in a bind, My father does not have a sense of humor (Nor do I) and He is a meat mashed potato guy and my mother can eat any thing but fish/shrimp. I need a Restaurant to eat at and a place to visit that is open on Sunday.

What amount of money would it take for you to ruin what was a pretty normal family. My older brothers and sister screwed me and my little sister out of about twenty thousand dollars apiece as part as the settlement of my parent's estate. I can survive without the money, but just the fact that they did it will probably prevent me from talking to them again. Should I continue to feel like this, or should I forgive and forget? Honestly, I can probably forgive, but I know I will never forget. What do you think?

ME and my boyfriend moved in together last aug. Before and after moving in I went to every family function of my boyfriends. His moms, dad, sisters, grampas, nefews birthdays, easter, christmas.......Must I go on. Last Jan when it was my birthday my boyfriend didn't get me a card, present, cake nothing untill two days after the fact. I got a card (maybe cause I said something ) and his parents just phoned me to say happy birthday (that was it)
Last wed. was my b/f birthday and I did everything for him treating him how I would want to be treated but on sat his mother is having a huge birthday party for him and I'm upset that I have put so much effort into going to every function and in return it wasn't given back when it was my birthday. From his family or my boyfriend!!! Should I go on sat? Should I keep going to every family function when the effort towards me isn't returned????? They tell me "your part of the family" but I feel they don't care about me.

My husband and I have been keeping my pregnancy from his parents. I am 31 weeks so I'm almost done. I am starting to feel uncomfortable around them especially his mother. We feel that they have made to many hurtful comments about how we shouldn't have anymore kids due to the fact that we already have a two year old. Is it wrong to not want to hear the DRAMA ???
Do you guys think that we are justified if we just show up one day with our second child???

I love my BF and I am willing to accept his child as my own (child is 8 named Devin). However; I can't seem to accept the fact that he is also the ex-gf's child. The fact that my BF still has to even talk to her about anything at all. I understand completely that he would have to talk to her if it's regarding Devin being hurt or of his needs. She calls my BF and complains to him about how Devin isn't being a good boy expecting my BF to do something when she isn't even there to be a mother and she won't allow Devin to live with my BF. She was the one who cheated on my BF a year after he proposed to her just for the sake of holding the family together. Now that she's kissing Devin's butt whenever she's home (she's either at work or out with her new BF and already has another kid with that guy) Devin thinks so highly of her now. No matter how good of GF or better of a mother I can be, I won't be able to win his heart over his mother's. How can I accept a child of the other woman?

I have a wonderful ten yr old girl who's heart is VERY big! However, she does really stupid things sometimes without thinking and I know for a fact she doesn't do these things in a "deliberate defiance" of me or anyone else as my mother would say. Her solution to any problem is spanking or hitting (not my cup of tea) I do not want my daughter to fear me but I also am not interested in being her best friend. I'm her mother and I know that comes first. What can I do to help her? All her teachers adore her. She defends her friends when they get picked on and gets all A's and B's in school and is a VERY happy kid! She loves life but she is so stubborn sometimes.

My mom, dad and brother get in blow outs constantly about how my brother is a bad kid and crap like that. He really is a good kid, he doesn't smoke, drink, and he's never had a girlfriend or anything. He's eighteen and has his own car. they are mad because he goes out with his friends like once in a blue moon. They (parents) are so strict, i'm not allowed to wear pants to school, and i'm from a muslim family, but all my other muslim friends wear pants, so i decided to borrow some from a friend. my mom found out aboiut them and totally went histerical!!! she said i have no self respect and all that. plus she read my diary and got mad because of the guy i like, she thinks that liking guys is a sin and crap like that but its really not, because all the other muslims i know are allowed to do things when i can't even wear a pear of pants without getting yelled at. my dad says i don't show any respect for my mom but i do, i do all her chores and translate, how can i deal with all this?

My parents have me working for them caring for my grandpa. I've been doing this for a little more than 2 weeks, and they told me if I did, they'd pay me. My father told me he'd give me some money this week (2/25--3/3), but hasn't yet. I'd like to ask him about it, but how do I do it tactfully?
P.S.--I think he may do it soon, but I would like advice on what to do if he doesn't keep up his end of the deal.

my uncle always sends his son over without asking us and then he never calls when he gets home so the BRAT stays till who the f*** knows when. he also thinks that he can get away with telling ME what to do and i tell him that if he says something like that again then i will through him out but he won't listen and he gets my brother and sister and wild and he's younger than me!! i'm 13 and he's only 8 and i think i'm going to kill him and his dad the next time he comes over and tells me what to do. my father commited suicide in october last year. the main reason why he did it was the woman he was with played with his heart strings and cheated on him quite a few times. she was 32 and my father was 57. now after 5 months she is still causing problems with us like sending the cib around with a search warrent telling them that we have stuff of hers when she had already collected it all. it has brought everything back up again and i am having trouble dealing with it all.

I need help, i don't know what to do. This guy that i live with is trying to kill a kid. he locked him in the basement with no food or water and the poor kid is ill. We can't get to the phone because they'll hurt us if we come near the phone, or the basement door. Please help, I want to help the kid, but I don't know what to do. ok first off please dont judge me in a horrible way, I may not be the most perfect woman in the world but i have been trying my hardest from the start. I feel really low right now so i would appreciate it if I didn't recieve any hurtful replies. Anyways, i am 22 and i am married. i have 2 children and i am curently pregnant with our third. My husband and i moved to the south in 2004, we were born in RI. My 2 youngest children have been taken from us by the state due to financial problems. We were having a very hard time paying our bils and rent and sometimes we(not my children) would go without food for a few days. The state took our children to help get us on our feet. We both got fulltime jobs and have been able to live better then we were in the past. Our house always has food and our utilities haven't been turned off in months. We are also able to pay our rent without problems. i will finish in details.......

Hi there...I just wanted to get some ideas because I can't think what to get my step-brother for his 30th birthday (his party is tomorrow)...Please I really need suggestions because I am going tonight to buy something...I guess I want to spend no more than $40...I don't really know what he likes...I know he likes sports (well watching them anyway) but I have no idea about his music taste or what books he might like so I just wanted to get some ideas because I do want to get him something nice since it is a special age...

I was put into foster care when I was just 2 days old with the family I have known my whole life and they adopted me soon after. Recently though I have become curious as to who my real mother was and if she is still alive. I know the last name and my former first name but I do not know the spelling. I don't remember her from the visits I was told I had with her and to top it off, I was told that nobody knew who the real father was.

Can you give me Ideas about where to look? My adoptive mother has passed away and my adoptive father has a horrible memory, so I need other sources.
