help, emergency?

I need help, i don't know what to do. This guy that i live with is trying to kill a kid. he locked him in the basement with no food or water and the poor kid is ill. We can't get to the phone because they'll hurt us if we come near the phone, or the basement door. Please help, I want to help the kid, but I don't know what to do. And no one outside will believe me. please anyone help.

.Well first of all, it is difficult to really answer this question because you need to be more specific in the detail of your question. It would help to know who exactly is "we" that is unable to get to the phone. Is it your kids? How many people exactly is living at this house? And finally how many people are you meaning when you say "they'll hurt us?"

If you do have kids get them and yourself out of there for whatever believable explanation that will not be questioned by him/them. Go directly to the nearest police station and tell them exactly what you have witnessed and the address. If you have no friends or family that you can stay with until you can find other living arrangements then go to the nearest shelter and ask for assistance. You could save a life if you take action now. If you continue to ignore this it could lead to murder and being that you knew about the actions taken against the boy and did nothing to stop it in any way you could be charged with being an accomplice

If you are serious then you need to talk to an the police right away.
Do not let the antics of a bully stop you.

If something happens to the child and you did not report what you know , you can be charged as an accessory.

You need to get to a phone or someone who can help immediately.

You sound like you're lying. If you have access to the internet then you have access to the police! BUT if you're not, then I suggest that you type your address under your question and I guarantee that everyone who reads this will ring the police for you!

This can reported over the Internet...look up your local police or city website, and email them. If you are joking, this is in very poor taste, and could result in charges, as computers can be traced very easily.
