Im an at home mom but I will be going back to work soon, Im having mixed feelings about it. I miss the interaction with adults in the working world but while I was in the working world I wanted to get away from people and be at home. Is the grass always greener?? Just curious...

i have not seen my family for approx 30 years. i recently found my brother. we did not have a good childhood, he has a relationship with his mother. i want to ask about her, but i dont know what to ask or what to say. i dont want to risk my brother terminating our new found relationship. he is very very untrusting. i have my husband and kids and he has only recently found a girlfreind. i think he is lonely. i am trying to build up a relationship with him, it is great but i am screwed up inside cos i secretly hoipe that my mother will still have some feelings for me but dont want to encroach on my brother

I'm pretty sure everytime my dad goes on our family computer, there's searches left on it such as.. "hot lesbian girls making out".. girls girls... lesbians.. blah blah blah. He's married to my mom.. I don't understand why he has to watch completely degrading material such as that. Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone else have thoughts on this?

So I'm a girl, 18 and..yeah. Problem is that I get annoyed easily, over littlest things and that's ok I think, as long as I'm not being rude to someone who isnt be blamed. My mom means everything to me and sometimes when I get annoyed I vent my anger on her, which later I cry over a lot and feel selfish. I don't really care when I vent it on others.. I just blow up in their faces and throw stuff around. But when I vent it on mom when I know she's the only person taking care of every damn thing I still vent it on her, maybe because she's my best friend but that's not a valid reason is it. I dont know..I just really want to stop this behavior, it makes me feel more guilty when she doesnt even tell me off, she just tries to console me and tell me not to worry and calm down. I know most of you would say "she needs to give you beatings" and believe me I agree, but she loves me too much to do that. How do you advice me to calm down and take things easy? I'm not crazily short tempered though

So, I just started going out with this boy (let's call him BOB). I'm 12, and I really like him, but i haven't told my parents yet. I can't tell my dad, because he'll probably test me 4 HIV and put me on birth control, but I'm not so sure If i can trust my mom. She's usualy openminded about these kinds of things. But, I don't know if she is just going to let it happen. I mean, my little brother has a girlfriend, but they're not really serious or anything. I am having a fancy dress party for my 30th birthday in September. I have already chosen my costume but hubby, daughter, son and baby nephew need ideas please!
Hubby is 38yrs and large (xl actually), daughter is 10yrs old and son is 7yrs. Baby nephew will be 9months old.

I think it is so cute....My daughter asked me a question today that brought me back to my innocence as a child. She asked me~ "How do babies eat when they are in a mommy's tummy? Does the food fall on the baby's head or does it munch it all up like a fish?" I was rollin!!! She had the most serious look on her face and I couldn't help but think about a question I asked my mom.... "I ate a seed by accident, will it grow in my tummy?" As I teared up, I spit the orange out when my mom started laughing. LMAO tell me yours!!!!

I work at a losusy cashiering job at Target and I get paid $7.50 an hour I only get to work on the weekends. I feel so left out because all of my friends are going to the mall and being social buiying new clothes. I'm still stuck in ragged clothes from a year ago. I lost weigth and I need to buy new clothes. My dad won't let me go out to buy my clothes for some odd reason. I asked him why and he said "because I said no" I hate him! He is the overseer of my Bank account and he is always checking on how much money I take out. I take out at least $20 a week for my lunch and he saying that I spend too much money. I found out that he took $100 dollars out of my account to buy his Girfriends' daughter presents. With my money! That I worked hard for! I hate him, his girlfriend, and her ugly daughter. He forgot about my birthday and my brothers birthday and he didn't even get us anything. Not even a happy birthday. Her treats them better than he does to me and my little brother

The story is this one day a girl was to busy to wash any forks so she just used a plastic fork to eat her dinner. When she had a great be bite of chicken she ate it the swallowed a piece of the fork. The girl was so worried how it would go down she called her mom and asked what she should do. Her mom said, "Just what and soon you will find it again." The End!! Hope you think it is worth a star because it is a true story. It happened to my sister. Whenever you need a cam. you never have it in time. You should have saw her face when she ate the fork! LOL

I live with my partner but go to my parents house every day as i have horses there.I have to go in to wash my hands to drive home, i am criticised for dirtying the soap, i am questioned when i open the fridge or cupboards and asked what i am looking for, i am persistently ignored or spoken to like a second class citizen for no reason. My mothers health is not good but she speaks to me as and when she wants to. I walked out of my mum and dads 5 weeks ago as i was spoken to like a child because apparently i had left the soap dirty and i haven't been in since. I feel at 42 years old i am old and wise enough to make my own decisions that i appear to be incabable of according to my parents and all i want my mum to do is to phone me up and appologise for speaking to me the way she did. This is not happening, i go there every day attend to my horses then leave. My father only speaks to me when my mum can't see him as i presume he has been told not to speak to me. Is this controlling behaviour

My wife has told her she doesn't want to go. Ok last week we got tickets booked for my wife from her sister. My wife can't get off work, the airport is 90 miles from where we live so we would have to drive her there and pick her up there. Is ther e a way of getting through to someone that won't talk no for an ansawer? My sisiter in law has run her life off into a ditch , as Dr Phil would say . But she's tooo stupid to see it.

i used to feel like im dying inside. but not anymore. im not as depressed.
so here's what happened.
im a sophomore in highskool. i got 3.2 gpa last year, but this year, i got 4.0 in my first semester. cus my parents[are in korea] pressure me to death. i come from a very educated family. one of my cuzs goes to harvard and another goes to perdue.
but im the only odd one out of my family.
i dont work my butt off to achieve something. cus i dont really care.
but five weeks ago, i started dating this really great guy. and i lived my life in a haze for four weeks.
my grades were down from a's to c's.
now, if i bring my grades up, im likely to get a 3.4, which is really unacceptable. i will be sent back to korea even if i get just one b.
i dont know how to face my parents. i have two weeks from now on to raise my grades...
i KNOW i was stupid to put my future on the line. i know that i will be learning it the hard way.

any comments, motivation, advice?
i need someone...

i am having a problem confronting her about something that happend the other day~
she lives 2000 miles away and my hubby n our kids live here in calif. we went to file taxes w/h &r block the other day and of course hubby claims all of us~ well they said we could not claim our daughter cuz someone else did! finds out it was my mother who lives 2000 miles away did! she is an RN who makes a lot of $ and is single and for her not to pay out as much taxes she did this! here we are struggling family and i am a housewife and hubby is the only provider. what would u say to a person that did this 2 u? she also will not give ourt her phone # . and when i ried to phone her over the holidays to just say hi she abruptly said "i got to go now bye" and have not heard from her since. she has always been a lil on the snooty side and kind of ups her nose at me and my daughter she calls her a major weirdo and it hurts my feelings. what shouldi do or say? should i just let it go?
