yeah so basically my mom just split with my dad and she had a alot of stress in her life. she gets angry really easily now and becomes really unreasonable. like go back on her word and when i tell her she goes back on her word she says she dosent care cause she owns the house and she can do what ever she wants. Because of the divorce she didnt want to keep our house anymore so we live in an apartment now. because of her anger problems i get really pissed at her alot of times, when i do i get kicked out of the house. so any recommendations on how to pacify a angry mom? thx

My mom told me we didn't even own a camera so no pictures to freshen my memory. My sister opened a perfume pretty barbie doll, and I tore open a doll baby. I wanted her doll, about 20 years later...I got it. How come nobody believes me. I remember the light coming through the window, I remember how my sister looked and what she was wearing. I also remember my brother running around with a gi joe. Why doesn't my family not believe me except for my Dad?

ok me and my boyfriend have lived together for about 3 years his brother and dad both live with us for the moment. I never get alone time and they dont pay bills how do i either get him to understand they are only using him again or kick them out without upsetting my boyfriend...... I ought this house before me and my boyfriend were even together, he pays bills, but money so tight i really can only spend 4-5 dollars a day in food

reading about psycho MIL i had to ask myself. she is a big liar and drama queen she adds tears and fake blood pressure attacks to get her sons attention. she told me she wants me out and hates me..she made my life hell by always complaining to my husband then his mood is bad with me always why does he do this guys? and also he believes her drama cuz she tells him ahhh i will die then he tells me i hate u my mom is dying u r happy( his mom is very young and healthy shes 55 how is she old and dying why does he believe her lies?) she insults me he doesnt defend me, i ask him in closed doors why do u stay quiet he said shes my mother i will never say anything to her and also his sis r same to me, how do i make him give me attention

Just today, I saw this commercial about some dolls called Baby Bratz- or something like that. Now, the young girls were dressing them with more of a adult apperal, revealing their belly button. It seems like the toy industry is trying to make younge girls, ages from 5-7 to mature fast. Do you find this right or wrong? I mean, this is just one factor about kids maturing too fast. My brother said I was not invited to his house because I supposedly broke a camera of his ( which I did not , his child did and his wife knows this) , plus my ex ( his friend that I dumped ) and his new girlfriend are going to be there I am sure. What should I do?

She said that she would watch my son for 2 hours while I went to class. Then she calls me two hours before and says that she can't come and gives me an excuse. She said the roads were bad , which they were not , I drove them. I feel she just did not want to watch my son. So I had to have my aunt do it. The father is out of the country and so are his parents. I rarely ask her to watch him ( maybe 2 times per month) its not like I go out and party and drink and dump him off but she tries to make it out I do.She always makes more out of things than what they are. I am 22 and not a partier at all by any means. I used to go out before I had my son but that is a rite of passage. I don't go out at all now.How can I deal with her?

Do you agree that kids watching cartoons? Most of the cartoon heros are destroying, demolishing things. Is this conveying a good message to our loved ones?

For example, Tom and Jerry!, Jerry destroys house hold items such as glass and plates. Our kiddies love to watch this and even trying to do the exact thinss as jerry did! A kind of imitation! Is this a good sign?

My daugher have no friends here in our place but she have so many in school.. She asked for a cellphone when she turned 14 but after 2 months having it i realized that because of that cellphone she is busy always answering those messages until past midnight. Because of that cellphone i found out that she have a boyfriend now and the guy just said his intentions throught that cellphone.(i read those sweet messages to her of that guy on her cellphone) That guy didn't even show his face here in our house. I want to get back that cellphone and not give it to her again..Is it right to get that cellphone to her. What will i do if she hate me for getting it.

im currently getting a D in my spanish class cuz i dint do some hw assignments and i got a friking 33% on my last test, which was my only test in this sememster so far, i think
and anyways, my parents are really asian and they're gunna flip when they see my grades, and i cant jst not show it to them cuz all the teachers are suposed to update my grades on edline tomorrow
any suggestions or excuses that will help me not get busted and getting yelled at by my parents?

It is two days away from my babies first birthday party, and I have planned a huge birthday bash and have flown in all my relatives. Then come to find out my mother had gone and sugessted to my sister that she should get married the night of the party. I have paid for all the plane tickets and hotels for this party. and my mother told me that it was just convient for everyone. Meanwhile my sister has lied about her whole life to the man she is marrying and I totally dont agree with the marriage on any day not just the day i planned for my baby.(I know he wont remember but as a mother i can't reSiSt.) Do I have a reason t be upset with my mom?

When 2 children share the same father and live with their respective mother, which is the correct way for one child to refer to another? They see each other, often. Sister/Brother or Half Sister/ Half Brother.
Also, do these questions (how many in you family, ect?) come up on applications for schools, ect?. Just wondering, as I would not like to cause confusion for the toddler, later on.

nathan was born 2 mounths early and at that time my boyfriend & i lived sepratly he lived at his parents and i was living with my grategarand mother who raised me form age3 and up but anyways when he grue in to toldler hood his addtiude had changed from loving to really almost hateing his dad.i knowtest his cange in behaver when he would bring him back home form having on nathan for the weekend &now it seems to gottien woise sence we moved in to gether and also became pregnet with his brother . thank god he loves his brother! and surpriseingly he is not jellous of eathan! but shawn trys to get him to do anything at all, he sits or stands there yelling at shawn or telling him hes not his dad or stop telling me what to do!!! and i am at my whits end about them 2 cause when they are around each other its nothing but fighting and yelling i dont need eathan to start this behavor at his dad eather! even shopping is a night maire cant get through it with out shawn and nathan fighting! HELPME

I feel like the mom I knew is dead, now she just rambles on and on about depressing and irrational things. She always sounds so self assured, like she feels artistic, but she's just amusing herself. She hasn't smiled in years. I'm not sure if the alcohol has done it to her or if she's just changing. I'm a teen and shes in her mid forties. I go to parties but can't touch alcohol anymore because I dread becoming like her. Shouldn't kids WANT to emulate their parents? What should I do? I miss my mom.

i have a weird problem with my hubby's sister.She is the most insensitive, self hating person i ever met. One moment she can be really fun to be around then the next moment she is holding a grudge over something you said years ago. Like if she wants something and you cant provide it for her, she would act the fool and make up stories and want to fight you because you said you didnt have what she asked for... One day i came by to see my mother in law and she was like acting so crazy like 3 people had to hold her down because she wanted to fight me, dont know why but she is freaking crazy...what do you think is wrong with this girl?? could she be bipolar or schizo?? shes like that with her mom too,like she would just come outta nowhere with stuff from years ago after she forgave you for it(its weird). how do i cope with her attitude and her weird tempers and problems??

i have a question i need straight up answered please.
ok so lets say a father has full custody of a daughter but the daughter stays with the mom in another state with the dads permission but there is no court involved. the mother decides tht things arenot working out with the daughter so she decides to send her back to the fathers.

can the father object to this?

I am a college student. I cant transfer to another school bc I have a good scholarship.Next year (Fall '07) I will be getting an apartment, but my mom can't really afford to help me out and my Dad just won't... at all. I have taken out loans and my grandparents have been helping me out tremendously but I really hate relying on them so much. I can't afford to pay for an apartment and utilities by myself and I can't take another loan out so it pretty much comes down to the fact that I HAVE to get a roommate!! My roommate for the last two years is moving away and so my boyfriend said he could move in and pay half (or more) of everything. It seems to be the only solution... My question is just how do I bring it up and tell my parents? I know they will freak out and my dad just wants me to take a roommate that I don't know... But I would rather do this because we have been together for about a year now and I have stayed with him for weeks at a time anyway. we are both 18 now, and will be 19

A few days ago my eyes filled with tears; tears of happiness. Here goes the story:

I chat a lot over the MSN with my son. I always send him links to my questions and answers on Yahoo, discuss the validity of the questions and get his feedback on my answers.

Instead of saying "bye" at the end of our conversation, we use the word SALAAM, which means PEACE. finishing my conversation with him I said, “Salaam”. He answered, “Salaam, brother”. I was thrilled as I realized that I brought him up well. I am not only his father, but I am a brother as well. I believe this is how the relation between a grown up son and his father should really be:

I'm 24 now. I haven't spoke to my mother in six years. She chose her boyfriend over me. She don't even know her grandkids. My parents are not together anymore and my father keeps telling me its her lost. Just before I left she keep showing hate towards me because she thought I'd take her boyfriend. He's in prison now. I could go on and on about the problem. My brothers and sisters think I should give her another chance. After all these years and all that she done to me I just can't. I don't know what to do.

Mom and I had a huge fight. She asked me to do something; I forgot. I admit, I was wrong. She called me back, asking me why I didn't do it. I apologized. She said, "bye", and hung up. I called her back, asking her why she hung up on me. She said she didn't, because she said goodbye. Then, she began yelling at me. I told her that she was being nasty and mean for no reason. She told me that I was being disrespectful by not letting her talk. I told her that I didn't like the way she talked to me...she said that no matter what, children shouldn't challenge their parents. Now, we're not speaking. My mom has a serious anger problem...was I wrong?
