I am moving to a new area (pittsburgh pa) and I have been trying to find babysitting jobs in the area and can't seem to pull up anything decent on the internet. Does anyone know of any good website where there are parents looking for a sitter? Thanks in advance.

Ask in the office of your school. They might have a babysitting list. I have usually found my sitters through my daughters school. Many of the parents of pre-schoolers are looking for sitters. Do you live in a planned community? Do they have a newsletter? If they do, Advertise. If not, do you have a local grocery (not Giant Eagle), my local grocery in Sewickley has a cork board with opportunities. You could also ask your church if you could advertise in the church bulletin. You could also volunteer in the Church Sunday School. I have also found sitters there. Whenever my daughter seems to connect with someone, I usually try to have them over to babysit. If you would like to rephrase your question and mention which area you are moving to I might be able to help you.
Oh your local library probably has babies and books etc. Go and ask the librarian if any of the Mom's are looking for a sitter. If not ask if you can volunteer. A wonderful opportunity to meet many stay at home moms at one time.
Good Luck,
I will keep an eye out for your question if you would like to be more specific about the part of the city that you are moving to. Don't be too specific though. (East, West, North, South) or North Hills, Cranberry, South Hills, Monroeville. Etc....

Most parents will not advertise in a widespread forum because the risk is too great. They may advertise in a college paper or at their child's school. I would check local schools and colleges first.
