If you show trust in your parents, they will show trust in you. Talk to them about how things are going. Talk to them about how you're feeling. Ask their advice on things like how to handle peer pressure and how to say no if someone wants you to do something you don't really feel comfortable with.

Seriously, if you do this, they will realize that you are mature and responsible, and they will feel secure that you are trusting them and their opinions.

Have they ever given you a 'curfew' to follow which you might have missed?

As a parent, we try not to over-protect our children. We need to let you guys see the world yourself but you guys got to proof to us that you guys can be trusted and won't come back with problems with the law, with friends, etc.....

Have a good talk to them and share with them you view. Tell them that you can be a trustworthy person and promise to be back by a certain time.... (but make sure you do it)

let them trust you, show them that you are responsible. If they haven't met your friend before, bring your friend over to your house and show your parents that your friend is a good person and won't get you into trouble. Don't try sneeking out whatever you do though, it always ends up bad.
