Just today, I saw this commercial about some dolls called Baby Bratz- or something like that. Now, the young girls were dressing them with more of a adult apperal, revealing their belly button. It seems like the toy industry is trying to make younge girls, ages from 5-7 to mature fast. Do you find this right or wrong? I mean, this is just one factor about kids maturing too fast. Thanks for reading this.

Little girls cant grow up any faster than their parents allow. My 10 year old dosent wear minis, skimpy tops etc because I wont buy them for her. Ends that problem, as for bratz dolls, my daughter loves them but she knows that the way they dress is not suitable for a child her age and is content to dress her dolls up and dream of being old enough. And by the way Im not religious!!

Your right the toy industry do push, but who buys the stuff for there children?
If we as parents put our foot down and said no they would soon realize they would have to make there money somewhere else and leave our children to grow up as was intended.

Yes!! Girls are growing up WAY TO FAST!!!! The sex that the tv , radio, & media promote are just way too much for a young person to try just to weed out!!
Sex needs to become a very special time in a young person's life! One in which that person is WILLING to wait until their wedding night............And if the other person in the relationship isn't willing to wait: then he or she ISN'T worth the bother!!

you are totally right, but the problem here lies mainly with the parents because they let their children run the house and do not know how to draw lines, instill discipline, and rules (of course within reason). and btw it's not only girls that are "growing" up too fast, it's guys too...

I think everything in a kids life now days is pushing them to mature faster, tv, movies, games, toys, etc.

Yes they are trying to make them look like street walkers as early as possible .And they wounder why kiddy porn is booming with these perverts .It makes me sick .Where are the parents ,They need to stop wanting to be their friends and start being parents .!

yes lil girls are growing up much too fast. i have lil girls in my preschool saying "look at my sexy boots and skirt i am a rock star" it is sad sooo sad.
