Ive been raising my 15 yr old dd by myself all her life. I have devoted every bit of me to raise her with all I have. She is such a good kid and has such a good head on her shoulders, no drugs, anything like that. Im so proud of her. The problem is that this last few months, she has really gotton mean and hurtful towards me. And it just hurts my heart so bad, it brings me to tears everyday. I know shes a teenager, I used to be one, and I remember the emotions. But I am so sensitive, and so is she. Its has gotton to the point where I cant hold a normal conversation with her anymore because Im in fear I may say something wrong, and set her off. There is so much silence in the car and in the house. Its only the two of us and it gets really sad and tensioned filled in the home. I knew this was going to happen to a point, but I didnt think it was going to hurt me everyday. People say, shes a teen, just hang in there. but its really effecting my life. My home is so sad. I love her so much.

When I was a child I had an ok relationship with my mother. I loved her an appriciated the things she would do for me. However, life events happen over the course of the years and it has made me not only hurt but detached from dealing with her. I am not angry but I can not substain a healthy relationship with her at all. She never admits that certain situations like my crackhead sisters father beating me was not acceptable, or that leaving my sister with me to pratically raise (constantly) who is 9 years my junior wasn't healthy, or perhaps telling me I have three days to find somewhere else to live so she could move in with her boyfirend and pay his bills, and use the money from social security death benefits from my father to purchase a home for herself mind you I was living on the corner of asault and battery at 16 trying to feed and cloth myself. She constantly bad mouths me, and always has something negative to say however she swears she loves me and I am the crazy one.

Im in a dilemma right now. I have a cousin that is a doctor and Im a medical assistant. He has hes own office. I work overnight, but not as a MA, he said I could work with him if I want to BUT the problem is that he lives in Texas and I live in New Jersey. I can always move BUT to me he's a total extranger I have only talked to him a couple times and I dont know any member of his family, so they all extrangers to me and my son. If I move Im gonna need a babysitter of course, a extranger and my son is only 1yr old. I have no problem moving BUT then I got my all my family here in NJ. My son feels good around them and all, My mom of course dont want me to move, I have a lil sister wish I take to school, do hw together, take her out and shes most of the time with me, I wouldnt like to live her because shes little and she only sees my mom twice a week because she works from 4pm to 12 midnight and in the morning my sis is at school and plus shes a girl and you know boys.

feeling and i feel that it is my personal business what i do at night. I am getting Honor Roll in school and not doing anything stupid besides hang with friends/girlfriend. Is there any law that says i cant do this if i am back within 24 hours the police can't really do anything can they?

okay its a lot to write so ill sum it up.

basically its like this...im 16 and im one of 3.i have a twin sister and little brother.i dont fit in at all...everyone but my brother hates me.(dont say they dont.u have no idea)im always compared to them and my parents say why cant you be like your sister?they treat me like im not good enough.they even call me a *****.my sister is just like them.3 months ago i had sex with my boyfriend(i wasnt thinking and no im not gonna again until im married)my parents foudn out and things went downhill.theyve always been strict and mean and sometimes even slap me on the face.But now..is like EVERY little tihng i do gets me in trouble..even like not making my bed or something stupid like that.along with all that i stopped talking to my old friends-i noticed how fake they all were and i dont wanna be like that,even if it means im not popular anymore.last but not least my boyfriend tries to help me with my problems

My dad called me this morning to talk. we do from time to time.. but this morning he expressed to me that he had been working out at the local gym with my younger sister and her husband.. I have asked him to go to the gym with me in the past and he wouldnt.. and he goes all the time.. I thought it would be great to bond with pops since my parents have been astranged for 25 years. He told me No he doesnt have time or something he blew it off.. well now hes jazzed about going to the gym with my sister and husband and im mad as hell cause I asked first and this pisses me off.. I want to tell him about it. but I dont know how to go about it. can someone help me? And is it wrong to let it come out the way i really feel? cursing if may be or insults...?

my sister who lives with me now, i recently smelled pot in her room, but didnt say anything as i used to have a drugs problem too, but it was more serious than that. i dont want her going the same way as me, but what can i say without sounding like a hypocrite? we dont have any other family we talk to...do you think that it will lead on to worse problems, or is it just pot?

I bought Mum's walk-in bath. I bought her a motorised scooter. Now mother wants a stair lift but she lives in a bungalow. "Hettie (My younger sister) wouldn't deny me." We haven't seen Hettie since she ran off with the manager of the Bell and Whistle and the takings, 25 years ago. I've a good mind to get one fitted and shoot her out through the roof and into the swimming pool (Which I also paid for) It's all cheaper than a nursing home. What would you do?

I know this is not really the right section for this question, but I thought you guys might know something about all of this.
I was just doing some research for my brother. Here's some brief info: He was 16 when she got pregnant, she was 19. She already has a two yr old. At the time she was pregnant, she told him that he was not he father. She moved out of the state, had the baby, and then called him and said he was. She was friends with my sister before all of this happened and my sister says that she is had a lot of "partners". My brother is only 17 now and her step father is telling our family that he should be saving up the child support for the amount he "owes" her since the child was born. There has been no court orders and she's not even in the state. My brother hasn't even gotten to see the baby. Can he really be charged for a baby that might not be his? And who would have to pay for the DNA test? She's the one has admitted to sleeping around. He is stressing out.

Something serious happened between me and my mother one night when she came home (she was staying with me for a while). And in order to get my mother's drunk *** out of my home (at 2 am before she woke up my 3 little girls) I told her that I knew about some things she had told my sister which were very serious but complete and utter lies. I broke a promise to never tell my mom I knew about these things. What I did was wrong I know that. I've apologized sincerely and asked her to forgive me. It's been 9 mths. and she still won't talk to me. I told her that I was afraid for my little girls seeing their grandma in this disgusting drunken rage....I mean she was falling down drunk and swearing and so mean and screaming at the top of her lungs. And I tryed reasoning with her lovingly and calm then I tryed demanding that she repect my home and finally these things came out of my mouth...and well you know how it's ended. My mom and I have moved past it and talk ....but my sister....

I have a three year old girl and she loves my mom but there is alot of friction between us. My mother used to verbally and physically abuse us when we were little and I feel like the vebal abuse is still continuing. When ever I go over her house, she always puts me down, treats me badly and tells me I am a bad mother. During my seperation, she sided with and housed my husband and to this day she still tells me he is too good for me. To this day they still secretly talk on the phone as they did when we were married. When I bring my daughter over she always goes against my word and tells my daughter bad things about me. Am I justified in keeping my away from her? My daughter seems to be lossing respect for me and it is almost like my mom is out to destroy any ounce of self-esteem I have left in my soul. I am trying so hard to be a good mother and I feel so crushed. I am scared if anything happens to me that my mom will take her and abuse her as she did me

i have to coach at a high school wrestling tournament and have to bring my baby son. should i let him sleep in a room upstairs. i have a portable crib that he will sleep in. and the door will be locked. he will probably sleep twice for about 2 hours each. we will be at the tournament for about 8 hours.

they have 16 kids (some family in tennessee) 8 are his (wife died of cancer, 5 were their own, 3 were adopted) she had 5 (husband died in car wreck, 3 their own, 2 adopted), they got married, had another, adopted another, and 1 in foster care (planning on adopting soon). i think it's crazy!!! what are your views on it. the guy has money too, so it's not like they can't afford to raise them, but still...
