is there anything going on over there ? if not i'd ask why they didn't tell me he was going over there

why are you referring to her as deceased daughter's Godmother? is she your friend or not? if so then approach her as such.
why are you referring to him as the father? is he your man? or is he hers? or is he free to spend his nights where he chooses?
i would re evaluate your involvement in this, since your daughter is unfortunately deceased (god bless RIP) is this your business?
